Laurel Budapest is a modern and creative fine dining restaurant characterised by the respect of Hungarian culinary traditions that are combined with French technologies and the fusion of international, particularly Asian cuisine. There are two tasting menus available – one of them is completely vegan. Both menus include the same number of courses. We do not offer à la carte options.
Our restaurant, which has been ranked among the top 10 Best Hungarian Restaurants by Dining Guide since 2020, also offers a lunch menu every Saturday and Sunday, which is a shortened version of our current tasting menu.

Our set menus are meant per person, they cannot be shared at the table.

A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. A lot of small dishes combined with exiting Hungarian wines. A bit heavy with the smoker but the whole experience was top.

Wow, just wow! Everything we love in a restaurant - delicious interesting food, served by deeply knowledgeable and engaged servers. Tempted to eat here multiple nights in a row and it will be on the top of our list for the next trip to Budapest.

Very special and original fine food. The service is very personal and correct. Staff is knowledgeable and can explain the composition of the dishes very well.

We had a fantastic time for Suzanne’s birthday. Staff welcomed us downstairs to our table, after selecting our menu we were treated to a delicious 9 course dinner. Food was incredible with some great flavour combo’s and the service was spot on. Would return to Budapest just for this restaurant!
