The Latitude 50 restaurant boasts an impressive all-day dining experience with a locally inspired and influenced menu and drinks list.
Offering both residents and non-residents an exceptional and unique dining experience, the restaurant highlights the best of the region’s produce. South West suppliers include Salcombe Gin and Bays Brewery, with fish freshly sourced from nearby Brixham.

    No Lemonade, no Soda water, long wait to get served at bar. Food ordered not as described on menu Chicken bacon salad, the bacon was Palma ham, the Superfood salad no quinoa or broccoli. If told at point of order none of the above was available would have ordered differently.

    Lovely atmosphere but spoiled by my cold offering of pasta. The server took it away to reheat and to be perfectly honest it was tasteless and watery awful when eventually it came back . Unfortunately, had to leave the bland tasteless pasta. On the up side the other 3 meals were good. Would perhaps swing by and have a drink but will not eat there again.

    The restaurant looked very inviting and staff pleasant so we as a party of 6 adults and 2 children were looking forward to our evening meal after a busy day . Unfortunately two of the main meals pasta dishes had to be sent back as were very cold as was the garlic bread which we ate as were hungry at that time . Two of the party had festive dinner options one had no gravy and greens and had to wait while another one was made as apparently the small individual jug and bowl they brought out was for two but as the guests eating it we're on opposite sides of table and honestly looked individual size which wasn't explained they used . By time the next gravy and cabbage arrived the main meal was cold . They forgot the children's ice creams we asked and eventually came . We then asked for and dessert menu for adults to be told not available as kitchen closed !! No one offered us dessert or coffee. The restaurant is a lovely setting with only three other tables eating that night which made the mix up with food probably worse as how can't you get that right ? If restaurant was full dont think we would of had food at all !Such a shame staff and venue lovely . Overall didn't complain to much as didn't want to spoil a lovely family day we had as hotel good however you asked for a review ! If kitchen sort out food and restaurants staff ensure you get opportunity to enjoy full menu would of been great .

    Had a lovely festive afternoon tea with friends. Food was very good. The restaurant were very good at providing me cheese scones as I did not like mince pies or plain scones.

    My husband and myself went for lunch. The service was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was fantastic. Will definitely be going back. Will definitely recommend

    Latitude 50 was disappointing. On arrival we approached the front desk, there was a guy behind it talking to a lady who had a festive looking hot chocolate, which she was taking photos of with her phone,by the decorations. She ignored us and then the phone rang so the receptionist guy ignored us too. After waiting a short while we drifted towards the restaurant and then the lady acknowledged us and we told her we had a table booked. She showed us to the table and gave us a menu each. She returned moments later and asked if we would like any drinks. We ordered wine but the first two we asked for they had run out of. These were the cheaper £25 bottles she then told us what red wine they did have starting with 2 at £45 per bottle. We settled on a £25 shiraz which when it came wasn't a shiraz it was a shiraz/malbec/cabernet sauvignon. Expensive for a mixed grape and not listed correctly on the wine list. When it came to the meals the waitress didn't know what the specials were, the arancini balls. The soup was very thick, but tasty, not what we classed as a soup. The Sunday roast was pork and not a generous portion. The ox cheek was good, but the carbonara had to be sent back to be reheated. There were only two other diners so the atmosphere was lacking. Can't help thinking that they are missing a trick. Great location and new facilities, with better pricing and a selection of Sunday meats not just one choice and a fully stocked wine bar should have the locals flooding in. Though with the seemingly lacklustre attitude it is unlikely people will return.

    Had a really enjoyable meal with a friend. Service was very good, you could tell everyone was new in the role but they were still very helpful. Food was very nice and on a par price wise with other places in the area. Decor was gorgeous, didn’t feel like you were in Paignton. We moved from our dining table and sat on some comfy chairs after the meal so we could continue talking. Very enjoyable evening, will be back for definite!
