                                  Very nice decor, attentive staff but service started rushed, when there was really no need as the place was quiet. The bread basket was fantastic (and the high point) but the rest of the food was average for the price. We went for the wine pairing and it was very poor (the worst I’ve ever had). Not only were the choices not very nice (with the exception of the desert wine which is often the weakest link). Had to send one white back, one red served chilled with just an apologetic shrug (it had been hot so they put it in the fridge) and the measures were miserable in the extreme. At £85 per head that is all unforgivable. It could be great, but I will not be going back.

                                  Second visit. Fantastic lunch venue. Food is amazing, and the bread basket alone is worth coming for. Staff very attentive, and extremely helpful. Will come again.

                                  Amazing as always. Charming attentive staff serving great food and wine in beautiful surroundings. My friend particularly liked the Les Alpes cocktail - very unusual. As always the bread basket is to die for.

                                  It is evident how much skill and passion goes into creating such an outstanding meal. It is team work at it’s very best. I felt privileged to have been able to savour the result. When you subtract the time and expense of travelling to France for a similar meal, it is not so very expensive and I shall certainly return to celebrate a special occasion.

                                  The dining experience overall was unique and refined. I found the only thing lacking was the ambience which was rather poor, this may simply be due to when I visited but was my only negative. The food was absolutely superb with the Quail and Mash potatoes being exquisite. The staff service was perfect with them being extremely attentive and welcoming.

                                  Exquisite food, beautifully prepared and presented. Great to sit at the counter and see the chefs in action. Only one person doing the wine so that was a bit slow. Otherwise a delightful evening.
