The experience was similar to others I have had at this location and other LaScala's Fire locations - the food is pretty good but the staff, while friendly, do not seem well trained. We waited a while for our last dish (a salad) which made us wonder if it was forgotten, we had to get our own fresh bottles of water for the table from a nearby station (which isn't a big deal but its not the cheapest place). We had to wait for a sort of crazy amount of time for our check which - with two young children at the table - was tough. We are pretty reasonable people and our dinner was not at all awful but just not great. After eating here a few times I don't think we would go back, after every meal we all feel pretty awful even though we aren't eating huge quantities.

First time at this restaurant. Went with friends prior to a concert in Media and we all were really impressed with the atmosphere of the outdoor patio. They had the Phillies on and music that was at just the right volume. We were all able to enjoy the vibe but still hear each other talking. Our server was great. The drinks that came out from the bar were perfect and there was a pretty good choice of beers. The food came out faster than expected, was hot and delicious. We all agreed that this place was a gem. Will definitely be back again when in the area.

Our first dinner at LaScala's Fire was a success. The food was delicious and plentiful and the atmosphere was electric; although a bit noisy.

Food and service were great! I wasn’t thrilled with the extra charge for credit cards or the $5 price difference between drinks at the bar and table. The worst part is that I forgot my leftovers on the table. 😩

I wanted to take my siblings to LaScala’s for our sibling dinner outing and we had a good time. Our server wasn’t as attentive as we would’ve liked her to be, but the food made up for it. The location offered great vibes and an energetic atmosphere. There were a few flies flying around, which was really annoying when we were trying to have a conversation and make sure they didn’t land on our food. I typically visit the Villanova location and never have issues there.
