Second time here. Ordered a salad which was very good but I ordered grilled shrimp and got shrimp prepared another way. Told the waiter and he ordered me another portion of grilled shrimp. When they arrived they were not grilled again . Has to send them back again . After three tries the grilled ones came through. Waiter was pleasant about the error. Overall salad was good.

Awesome food! Ricotta spread was amazing as was the vodka rigatoni. Great service as well :)

We love it here! Everyone is so kind and accommodating. Delish cosmos! Outside area is so nice but they seated us at a table for 4 against the side outdoor area so 2 of us were sitting facing the black dropdown of the tent. It’s like sitting facing a wall. Part of the fun of being there is people watching and seeing the hustle and bustle. Other than that, they always do a great job. Our server was so cute and she was on the ball! Great food and drinks and great time. So happy they came to Newton Square.

Popped into LaScala’s Fire in Newtown Square on Saturday evening. The short version - it is #ChainFood. Detailed version - boxed pasta, bland food and sauces, and my least favorite - $20 Manhattans (bourbon is $40 a bottle) - no way one drink should be $20. Ordered the arancini balls as an appetizer and they were oversized rice balls devoid of cheese, flavor or any other seasoning. The angel hair pasta with lump crab was a generous portion but flavorless - both the crab and the sauce. Bride had the soup of the day - an indescribable orzo pasta soup in a lemon vegetable broth? It wasn’t horrible, but it was a mystery. Mussels included a couple of the obligatory unopened (dead) mussels in a decent broth - it’s not a local independent restaurant and as such, it’s right up there with any chain you dare to dine with …
