We were with another couple who hadn’t been there before as we had several times. They were very impressed with the appetizers, entrees and desserts. Cool air prevailed with live music.

We went on Father’s Day. I used OpenTable to make the reservations. The facility is comfortable and clean whether inside or out. The food was delicious. The prices are fair. The servers are quick and communicative and present when you need them. Also, accurate, which I find to be very important. The only hiccup we had was that because of the rush of the holiday, the food came out at different times. Not a huge issue as we were there to enjoy the night and the food and the drinks. I assume on another regular night the food wouldn’t be handled that way. I would definitely return here.

Went to La Scala’s Birra Pennsauken on Father’s Day. It was good until it wasn’t. What I mean by that is appetizers came out. They were good. Pizza was good. Then we waited 27 minutes after we were done our appetizers for our entrées. Only one of our entrées came out. My daughters entrée we were told they were out of clams. Now an hour after we first sat down and ordered. My husbands food never came. Do not know why. So we were done. We had enough we left. Not sure whose fault it was whether it was the kitchen or our server.

There should be chips with sandwiches. Plus rolls should be included, not an extra charge.

We arrived on a Saturday evening at 5:30 and were promptly seated. Our server was Jennifer, and she was pleasant. She gathered our drink and appetizer orders and returned quickly with our drinks. Then Jennifer asked if we wanted to order entrees, we did, and she entered them into the kitchen. A few minutes later our appetizers arrived and so did our entrees. The timing of the food delivery was way too fast as we were not even halfway finished with the appetizers. To make it even worse, the food was cold. Jennifer came over to our table and asked if we needed anything. I explained that the food timing was way off. Then Jennifer explained to me that they are an open kitchen restaurant and when the food is ordered it comes out right away (but the food was cold). I wish she had explained that before we ordered. The experience was disappointing. We were hoping to celebrate my mom's 87 birthday, sadly we did not, it was a disaster.

We had a wonderful ladies lunch for Kindergarten graduation! Great pizza, great service, seat by the window. There were gnats by the window but I’m sure they are a part of the summer season. Great view. The pear and guyere pizza was amazing and cheesesteak egg rolls were perfect for sharing (2). Can’t wait to go back.
