Larkin's on the River est un restaurant primé servant des steaks de qualité coupés, fruits de mer frais, et vins fins. Chaque élément du menu est créé avec les ingrédients les plus frais et servis avec un flair créatif. Larkin's on the River au Peace Center pour les arts de la scène, est situé au cœur du centre-ville de Greenville, le long des rives de la rivière Reedy, dans le vieux Gower Coach Factory. Ce bâtiment est le seul restant des onze originaux datant de la guerre civile. After the Hurricane - Larkin & all their employees handle the unfortunate situation so well! The food and cocktails were divine and the service was immaculate and attentive! We were so satisfied!

Carla was our server. She was rude when she brought our water and ran away before I could order another drink. She didn’t return for 15 minutes. Despite walking by several times. No bread was ever brought to us. I never got a chance to order my sides with my meal because she ran off before allowing me to finish. For every refill of water, because she didn’t let us order anything else, we had to flag her down. And she would visibly huff or roll her eyes at us when we did. We watched her bring bread, drinks, and even chat with other tables. While we were ignored. It was my birthday and the dinner portion was ruined by her unprofessional behavior.

It's heartbreaking to see a once great restaurant go down in flames. The old location was phenomenal but ever since the move, it has never been the same. My family visited yesterday and I legitimately felt bad for our server. He tried his best but you can't get past waiting 15min for drinks that are not what you orderd, and when we did get them a rancid egg was used in my whisky sour. We all ordered steaks and they were served grey in color, covered in salt. We could not eat our meal and just opted to leave. Nothing was covered by the restaurant after a series of issues so we paid full price for food we didn't eat. It's very sad to see a past great establishment go down like this.

We were definitely sad because this is not the Larkins we knew. It was extremely loud, our food wasn’t good (mine was cold), and service was the worst part. We waited 10 minutes before our waiter acknowledged us, even though he was attentive to the 2 tables next to us. Our drinks were not good. We had the carpaccio and it was delicious. However, we then waited another 45 minutes for entrees because he TOLD us he waited to put ours in until the theater crowd got all of their meals. I got the Ell tenderloin which was good but ice cold. We didn’t have any utensils when our food came to the table so if it was warm when it got there, we weren’t able to enjoy it. Our server told us it wasn’t meant to be hot?! As we ate our first few bites of food, we were handed the dessert menu and asked what we wanted. We opted for none based on our meal. When he brought the check, he stood over us while we filled out the amounts on the keypad thing. Overall, we miss the old Larkins food and atmosphere. We would come back for apps.

My daughter and I had a great time dining after the Lion King performance at the Peace Center. We chose the filet and salmon for our entrees and they were amazing! The truffles fries were spectacular for an appetizer too! Phoenix was an excellent server and took care of all everything! We loved dining in the main dining room watching all of the yummy food transfer from the kitchen!!!

Our server was great but kitchen was SLOW! Food was good once it finally arrived. We won’t eat here before a Peace Center performance because we cannot depend on timing.

I have dined at Larkin's many times and the food is always delicious! My Granddaughter, who is nine, loves their truffle fries! Larkin's is her favorite place to dine downtown! Service is always excellent and you are never rushed. The food is always delicious! I highly recommend!
