Food and service was great as usual since the most recent change of personnel. We enjoy our conversations with Juliette and Haley (GM). Juliette is the bartender and does a great job. Go see her!

As we walked in through the front door everyone in our party noticed a peculiar smell so we asked to be seated outside. The restaurant appeared nice enough, but after taking our drink orders, we waited nearly 20 minutes for two of the four drinks to arrive. Our server seemed genuine enough while he was at our table, but for a restaurant that was never over half capacity during our visit, we were constantly waiting a very long time for things like napkins, which had been requested multiple times. The calamari was VERY salty, two of the four dishes were undercooked, and the glass in whichmy wife’s mojito was served was so narrow it couldn’t stand on the outdoor table without falling over. The buttermilk fried chicken and skirt steak dinner tasted very good, but I don’t believe we’ll be returning.

Your meal won’t be cheap but the food was great and always is. Our server was excellent and the manger checked on us several times. Wasn’t our first time here and certainly not our last. If your in the area we highly suggest trying.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Juliette was our server and she is so warm and bubbly and gave great suggestions on the menu. We started with the fried green tomatoes and 2 different types of Maine oysters and both were delicious. There was a perfect cornmeal crust on the tomatoes and the dish had so much flavor depth with goat cheese and a red pepper remoulade. With 6 total pieces it was a great size for sharing. The oysters were well shucked and tasted exactly as described. For our mains, I got the filet and my husband had the lamb. He said it was some of the best lamb chops he’d ever had! It was served over a creamy polenta which was very flavorful. My filet was perfectly cooked and served with delicious whipped potatoes and an onion jus. We shared a peach cobbler for dessert which was also delicious. I got a watermelon mojito and a mocktail. The price of cocktails was a bit high for the small glass but the mocktail was triple the size and delicious!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Largos. Food was excellent. Smaller restaurant with attentive staff.

As frequent restaurant diner, I would say my standards are beyond high. I think it would be fair to say majority of the restaurants I dine at are less that par, but not Largos. You will walk in to a warm smile by the General Manager, Haley. First I want to say, 100% of General Managers I meet are home by 7PM and never interact with guest. That's not a general managers job but it sure is Haley's. You can tell she's been doing this for a long time by the way she guides the conversation and how it flows into the servers introduction. Blew my mind, I hope the owners are taking good care of her. The service is beyond exceptional, Brighton was our server. She was fun and vibrant in her serving style. She opened up with specials and described some of her favorite Entrees. She said she had been with Largos since the beginning and it truly shows. Her dedication to the restaurant is what every manager/owner wants. She took care of us very thoroughly and even took a photo for us. The food is some of the best I have ever had. Ive traveled the world and have never had potato puree quite like that. Even though I settled for the Fried Chicken, I'm so glad I did. It took me back to Valdosta, GA when my mother would make us fried chicken once a month. The space itself is beautiful. Surrounded by local artist and decor. The ambience is perfect and we can not wait to come back. Being here before with a group and now was like walking into two different restaurants. It seems like Largos is back and here to stay. Thank you Brighton, Haley and Chef. The experience is one I will never forget.

Cartersville, Ga, is a convenient stop for us as we travel south at the end of our summer vacation. One year ago we discovered the (literally) hidden gem, Largos. This summer I couldn't wait to return--which we did! After having eaten "road food" so much of of our trip to that point, it was a real treat to encounter this lovely oasis of casual sophistication with a delicious and creative menu. The service was welcoming, efficient and friendly.

As always dinner was absolutely incredible. The pimento jam appetizer was out of this world. The calamari was also incredible. I always love to try a new specialty drink. We always look forward to our next Largos visit!
