                                                We had a fabulous dinner at lapinou. Our server was very helpful in us pairing our entries and starter along with explaining the size of the entries so we could decipher how much to order. He also adjusted our menu selections based upon our allergies and sensitivities. He was attentive without being intrusive just as you would expect for a lovely French meal. The food and wine were delicious. There was nothing we would have changed. We had the short rib and sea bream crudo. The crudo was light and spicy. We would have licked the plate if we could. But the the short rib was just as delicious and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the atmosphere inside with the beautiful velvet couches. This place is a gem. I would highly recommend.

                                                Top notch food and environment. One of my favourites for sure. Only critique, some notice that my special instructions couldn’t be done would have been nice.

                                                The food and Service were fantastic. But we won't be back. Not only was the music too loud, it was just plain BAD music.Why play "unknown" dance music at a restaurant unless you want people to eat faster and get out?

                                                We came for our 1-year anniversary and we’re less then pleased by the overall experience. Unfortunately the service was poor, the food was over cooked and the portion were small

                                                Lapinou’s patio is really pretty. A little noise from King Street but not bad. The menu is designed around sharing which was great. The beef short rib Wellington was amazing - highly recommend. A nice bottle of Bordeaux and some sides rounded out the meal. I would definitely go back.

                                                Excellent meal. We had the special, cote de beauf. It was well prepared and flavourful. We also had the beef tartar and oysters. Cocktails were delicious and wine recommendation was on point. Our only issue was the beef tartar only came with 2 little slices of sour dough bread. When we asked for more bread, we later found out that they charged us $3 for 2 more slices of bread. For a meal that cost over $300 dollars, I would expect that enough bread to accompany our tartar would be included. It’s a little thing, but honestly, it’s nickle and diming a customer.
