I can’t say enough about this neighborhood gem. Our favorite spot in the city. The food is always exceptional, and John and the staff treat everyone like it’s their first time there. Looking forward to our next dinner at L’angolo’s

Food was great! Had the Burrata salad for appetizer, the Lamb Osso Bucco with house made cavatelli for entree, and then salted caramel gelato for dessert. It’s a little deep into South Phila, but it’s a genuine little neighborhood Italian restaurant that cares about its food and customers and you will be delighted if you go there.

Food and service were excellent! My husband got the appetizer special which was octopus on potato salad. I got the caesar salad which was enough to share. We both got today’s special. My husband had Salmon with calamari shrimp and zucchini. He said the calamari wasn't chewy at all and shrimp was cooked perfect. I also got a special, papperdelle with shrimp, mushrooms and prosciutto. It was excellent! Really enjoyed our meals. Waiter was very attentive. Was quiet when we first arrived but was busy and noisy by the time we left.

L’Angelo’s was a great all around dining experience. The food was fantastic and the service and ambiance was second to none. A true gem is South Philadelphia.

Great food, big portions, not beautiful looking presentations, but it’s not that type of restaurant. Just enjoy excellent italian food! Will definitely go back again and again

Such an exceptional restaurant. The food is consistently excellent and the service is the absolute best. The menu offers something for everyone and the occasional additions to the regular menu are always a hit. The restaurant has regular customers who will tell you when asked that whatever they are eating, when you inquire, it is the best version of that dish they have ever tried. And the service, Carlos and Daniel - always efficient, knowledgeable about the food and a smile at the ready. It makes for a lovely, delicious and memorable evening. No wonder the restaurant is so popular. We can't wait to return again and again and again.
