At Landscape Restaurant & Grill, right in the heart of Hobart’s Hunter Street waterfront precinct, we create an unforgettable dining experience.

The heart of our kitchen lies in the coals of our Asado grill. Here, our experienced team, led by Head Chef Nathaniel Embrey, sear aged local wagyu, tender Tasmanian lamb, freshly caught seafood and other premium ingredients, creating masterful dishes of unrivaled flavour. Adding to the unique quality of our dishes is the distinctive environment in which they’re served – the historic walls of the original IXL Jam Factory, surrounded by the iconic landscape art of John Glover.

The service and the food were impeccable. We both had the aged pork cutlet which was delicious. I would highly recommend visiting for an amazing meal

Lovely restaurant, staff friendly and helpful in selection of wines and dinner course options. Oysters were devine, steaks cooked to perfection and dessert consisting of chocolate mousse and mandarin sorbet a beautiful end to our meal. In terms of pricing, it’s med-high, well worth the value

With oil based paintings, wines on display and classical music filling the air. Embrace the decor and enjoy it. The friendly staff are warm and welcoming from the moment you step in. We’re started with a sourdough, however being the last booking of the night, the bread was a little harder than intended. The oysters all over Hobart are beautiful, and the kingfish was fresh. After having steaks in countless locations known for their protein, I can confidently say that the chefs cut this night was the tastiest steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We finished off with a silky flan, a hot chocolate and a long black. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised with a little birthday treat from the staff. If you’re in the area and you’re looking to open your budget, this is a nice little dinner date. Cheers

The food, service and ambience 11/10! Excellent meal. So good in fact we made sure we went twice while staying in Hobart. One of the best meals we’ve had. Truly memorable experience. Thank you.

It’s a sophisticated ambience with a strong steak menu cooked to perfection. Only fault was the 6 wait staff we had with no consistency or feeling we were looked after by a particular person who noticed our needs.

Our party ordered different steaks and they were all fabulous. Sides and desserts were delicious too. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely dining room.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Hobart. The staff were all so lovely and made sure our needs were met. The atmosphere and ambiance was absolutely wonderful, the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. I am not a wine drinker but love a sweet drink and their wine expert nailed it on the head with the moscato he presented me. I had the 200g eye fillet as my main with bernaise sauce and it was probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, by far the best bernaise as well! We mentioned in our booking it was our anniversary and the staff made us a beautiful plate with their signature chocolate balls to wish us a happy anniversary which was especially lovely. If you are considering going here do yourself a favour and GO! You will not be disappointed.
