    It took us over an hour and a half to get our food. The other group that was with us got theirs and to go boxes before we got our food. The food wasn’t hot I ordered 14oz ribeye steak When I got it. It didn’t look anything like 14 ounces The waitress didn’t ask if we wanted refills on drinks she didn’t inform us on how soon the food would be coming. Usually this place is my go to. I won’t let this experience stop me from coming again. It will be a while before I come tho.

    It took 45 minutes to get a beer and a martini. We never got bread and had to ask. Our waitress said it was still baking even though we saw all Tables around us with bread. Only two of us got water. My daughter ordered a smoothie and it was basically a slushy. We asked for a remake and it took a while to get it. My husband had to go to the bar to get his own second beer and then it was still added to our bill! Crazy right. This was our first time eating at Landry in like 15 years and it is now the last. The food was good but that didn’t make up for the lack of service. She kept apologizing for the inconveniences but never attempted to make it right. She even asked why I was rubbing my temple at one point oblivious to the poor level of service. Good job to the kitchen for making a good meal.

    As out of town diners we were unfamiliar with the area. The restaurant is very secluded with little to no signage posted around the perimeter. It took us about five minutes in the rain to find parking and the entrance. The food.... steak, crab legs, mashed potatoes as well as the prickly pear cocktail were delicious. Although, the entrees could have been served little warmer, I'm going to charge that to the server, as I believe she was new and a little overwhelmed.

    Josh is the best server of all time! Funny, engaging, helpful. He made our experience amazing.

    Service (Josh) was great. There was a large table next to us , very loud and ruined the experience. Salad was brown, wilted. Everything was slow. Won't return. Outback is better and half the price.

    Our meal was amazing! The house salad with the house dressing was very unique in taste and plating. We had the crab and spinach dip for an appetizer, this is my favorite dip to get and this was the best I’ve ever had. It was extremely smooth and had plenty of crab meat. For our entree we split the Hemingway and the Lobster special. Both were fantastic. All of the seafood was cooked perfectly and not overdone which is rare. What really made our experience was our server, Megan. My mom being diabetic, it’s hard to find an alcoholic beverage she can enjoy. Our server went above and beyond to make her feel included by bringing her water in a wineglass with fruit and even placed her bottle in a chiller for her.

    Seating was great, right by the water as requested. The service was outstanding and the food was better than expected. There were kids and seniors and the menu satisfied us all. It was my 73rd birthday and to have the menu have Happy 73rs Birthday on my menu just made me feel so special. Josh was our waiter and he was professional and very pleasant. Knowledgeable of the menu he was able to offer us the specials and appetizers for the evening. Everyone said they definitely will be coming back.

    It was ok, Union station was interesting with the light and fire show. Food was average, or less. Scallops were overcooked. My friend said the fried shrimp was GREAT.
