Location, appearance & service were excellent. Everything is a la cart. When you order steak. What you get is steak & asparagus. The same is true with lobster tails. We asked if they served bread while we waited for our appetizers. One 6" loaf was presented. It was decent & we were charged for it later. It was overpriced for the quality of food that you get. My husband said his steak is okay. My lobster tail was overcooked & rubbery. Parts of it were dried up (yellow callused look). I only ate half of the tail & 2 asparagus. I had the waiter call the manager over. I showed her & told her about how both my lobster tail & asparagus were overcooked. Both were rubbery. For such a high class looking place, we expected more. It was our 10th year anniversary dinner & I was very disappointed. I did not expect anything, but I just thought they should know. They offered another plate, but I did not want to be disappointed a second time. The necessary training would not be instant. We would never come back. The first check that was given to us showed that half of my dinner was taken off. When the check was brought back for us to sign, my whole dinner was taken off. Obviously, we did not penalize the waiter in our tipping. We would still not come back.

It was a quiet middle of the week visit that made it great for me. We had our choice of seating and the waiter was very attentive. Food, service and ambiance were very good.

Great service and good entrees as usual. A gin&tonic should come with a lime in it. Sides that came with the dish were mediocre

Our food was excellent but it came too soon. We ordered our drinks and appetizers And food all at the same time. We did this because we had looked at the menu I had of time, but never thought our waitress would be bringing our main entry before we even finished our first drink. There were also quite a bit of crying babies around us, which can be so aggravating, but it was dinner time and I’m sure they had long days too.

Very good food and outstanding service! Our server, Cliff, was professional, courteous, and very attentive, and all with a smile. I had the King Crab, which was A-maz-ing! My husband had a dozen raw oysters followed by a delicious ribeye. We finished by sharing a creamy, decedent Creme Brulee! So good!!!

We always enjoy Landry’s when we spend time in Galveston. The food is great and the service is almost always excellent. We especially love having Thomas take care of us. He is amazing.

We always find this restaurant to be consistent and somewhat upscale for the Coast. Food can be rich when ordering the specials. Very nice presentation and typically cooked well done. We haven't tried deserts yet. Special requests are given when desired. We are Landry's members so that is a perk also.

Our reservation was met with a perfect table selected but elevated to one of the best experiences at Landry’s due to Jaymes our OUTSTANDING Server! His personality, knowledge of the menu, personable overall demeanor, attention to detail, friendliness was impeccable. Jaymes represented the type of server you wish you had at every dining experience. Landry’s Is fortunate to have him on their team and he elevated the evening for all of us! When visiting Galveston there’s no place I’d rather be and spend my money! BRAVO Jaymes THANK YOU!
