So we went out for a dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. The food, omg, delicious! We started out with one of my favorite appetizers at an Italian restaurant - the Sicilian Pepper Poppers. These were Cherry Peppers filled with Cheese, then deep fried in a thin batter. They exploded with deliciousness when cut open or bitten. Then we ordered the Butternut Squash and Fazzoletti Presto pasta. Let me tell you, the sauces in these dishes, were perfecto. The fresh pasta - glorious. Combined, it made for an amazing experience full of flavor. We highly recommend Lala for a great Italian meal. - Cheers! (On that note the drinks were great too!)

Wow best night meeting up with friends to share a meal and the meal was outstanding! I reccomend the lala martini, clams, and the steak

Food quality was subpar, was expecting more from sister restaurant of Barbusa which is consistently good. Would suggest a cocktail, not much else.

Everything about this place was awesome! The aesthetic was so gorgeous and the service was amazing. We even got to meet one of the owners and he was so sweet! I highly recommend their Espresso Martinis here, it’s made with oat milk and it’s literally insane. Will come back with back in SD for sure!

This restaurant is the exact definition of MID. The food was solid, but not amazing. The atmosphere is festive with 80s music playing so I was fun, but there was nothing that set this spot that blew my mind. Futhermore, it was my client's birthday and I noted it on the reservation yet there was no acknowledgement of it so that was a bummer. Overall, it wasn't special enough to come back to especially when there's a million restaurants in Little Italy with better vibes!

This was our first experience dining at Lala and it did not disappoint. We most definitely will be returning. The service was impeccable! Every staff member provided five star service from the moment we entered until departure. They continually checked on us, ensuring our needs and comfort level was met at all times. We went to celebrate a friends birthday and they made additional efforts to celebrate her...all acknowledging her, giving birthday wishes and bringing out a delicious slice of cheesecake with a sparkler in it. At the last minute my childcare cancelled on me so I had my 5yr old daughter with me. She was well received and welcomed. The ambience feels warm, classy and gives a sexy chic vibe. The food was superb and cocktails on point! I rarely give reviews and when I do...most of the time, its due to poor service. BUT...I'm happy to share how amazing the service and food is at Lala! I highly recommend! 5+stars!
