The Restaurant at Lakeview Manor is open to residents and non-residents. Open daily for breakfast served from 8am-10am and dinner served from 6pm - 8.30pm. Lunches are available on weekends from 12pm-3pm. Enjoy fresh, local produce in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have a well-stocked bar with a selection of locally-brewed Otter Ales – a true taste of Devon, full of individual flavour and aromas as well as a fine selection of wines.

Excellent service and food at a reasonable price. Food was freshly cooked with good sized portions. Best fish and chips I've had

Loved this place only stayed for 1 night en route but so peaceful, staff were lovely, food was amazing. Place to chill and recharge your batteries. Took our 2 dogs who loved the walks

The Chicken, Ham & Leek pie was like a tin of soup in a bowl with a wafer pastry biscuit on the top. By no stretch of the imagination was it a pie with a nice thick centre. The only way to eat/drink the liquid would have been with a spoon. The fish an chips were edible although the fish was very pale and anemic looking.

We had a lovely meal service was excellent. Bit on the expensive side. Menu could do with having more choice

Nothing wrong with the service provided, big let down was the poor food quality definitely not worth what we paid. Hunter chicken was bad, tough chicken breast swimming in terrible bbq sauce incredibly vinegary taste. The pie... Oh dear, THE pie of the day... Was liquid tarragon soup served in dish with cheap dice ham and chicken covered with tiny layer of puff pastry... Guys that's not a pie (pastry) you are serving a liquid soup in a pie dish Did NOT go back during our stay for dinner, we were planning to have breakfast every day but for £15 per head is a joke after our poor food dinner experience

Disappointing really. The fish cakes were cold inside and then reheated. Hardly any fish in them and my wife didn't eat them. However, the waiter offered us a refund without us having to ask. The atmosphere was pretty bland. When we arrived after a long journey there was nothing to offer us in the way of a snack. When we arrived , several staff were sitting around the bar and didnt look particularly cheerful. The morning staff were more upbeat than the evening staff.

Food and restaurant were lovely. However service was pretty poor, chef behind the carvery was very abrupt, bordering rude, we waited 25 minutes before even being allowed up to the carvery because they were expecting another table first. I assume they were trying to avoid a queue but it was frustrating to be able to see no one there, knowing it would only take us a couple of minutes to grab ours. Once finished we waited half an hour before finally going to the bar to order desserts and then again after finishing those went to the bar to pay as there were no staff to be seen. No one came to offer more drinks/ask if everything was OK with food etc. A shame because the restaurant itself was pleasant and food was hot and tasty.

This was our first time at Lakeview Manor and must say we were not disappointed. The lodge was beautiful the only thing I would say is that checking in at 5pm seems very late, you have lost all of the day especially after a long drive and people have checked out at 9 am, you just want to enjoy your holiday. Your cleaning staff should be able to turn the lodges around jn 1 hr. You need some kind of shelf in the shower as it's not good having things on the floor.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch everything was excellent as usual. Would highly recommend Lakeview for a leisurely Sunday lunch.
