Very disappointing. We had made a reservation knowing it would be busy for family weekend. We arrived on time and there was no host or anyone managing seatings. It took 30 minutes to get someone to seat us. Table was dirty. Menu was not the same as online but not flagged anywhere. We picked the restaurant for the menu that was offered. Food was served quickly but some dishes were cold. Just not a great experience. The servers were working extremely hard but there appeared to be no management assisting them.

Total joke. They took way too many reservations for UConn parent weekend and couldn’t accommodate them all.

We ate here during parents weekend at UConn. The place was insanely packed. Our server was lovely but clearly not supported as they were not prepared staffing-wise for the crowds. She did the best she could with a great attitude. We knew it might be iffy right from the start. At check-in, when we gave our name, the person who seemed like a manger mentioned that they hadn't been checking the open table reservations because they were too busy so they were not prepared for all the large parties that were there waiting. What should have been an hour or so meal wound up taking over 2.5 hours because they were overwhelmed. The food was fine. Again...the issues were not the servers fault. Management should have been more prepared with additional wait and bus staff and kitchen support (drinks wound up being served in plastic cups). Or simply, not accepted so many reservations that they couldn't support. We'd probably go back on a regular weekend, just to give it another try as the patio looked pretty. (Unfortunately, we had to sit inside and the blinds near us were all broken so we couldn't enjoy the view.)

We dined on the outside patio on a Saturday night. Food was delivered to the table as order and quick! Everything was really tasty. This is my third visit to this restaurant this summer and they haven’t disappointed. Live entertainment two of the three times we have been. Outdoor entertainment was really nice.

Loved this restaurant! We sat outside & had a gorgeous view of the lake. Our waitress was so sweet and the food was great!

Patio experience was great. Our waitress server Taylor was on top of things. Food came out hot and was pretty good. Obviously the view over the lake was really nice with the sunsetting. It was a little tough on the eyes.

Good first time at Lakeview...great view, good food and good live entertainment. Will def be back.

Menu has changed and quality of the food has really declined. Very disappointing change from what it used to be. We went on a Friday night and hardly anyone was there.
