At Lake Forest Bar & Grill, we are committed to serving classic American food, made with high quality ingredients, at an affordable price. Many of our customers live within a few miles of our restaurants. That’s why we’re known as Neighborhood Grills. And, for 14 years, we’ve been the go-to neighborhood spot, whether it’s breakfast (Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 2pm), lunch, dinner, or happy hour at Lake Forest or any of our other locations.

Our famous happy hour is available at all of our locations and we serve Northwest ingredients whenever possible. You’ll find fresh, local vegetables, Northwest spirits, wine, and beer, and Northwest salmon on our menus.

We have good experiences here before, but not so much on Father’s Day. The service was slow and spotty. We asked for water and coffee refills, they refilled two of the three coffee cups but no water until I had drank two other peoples water and my daughter asked again for water. Had to ask for more coffee for the other cup as well. My order was wrong when it came and though they quickly fixed it the portions were small and uninspiring. Really just just a so so experience.

The food in this restaurant is excellent. The sauces are original and tasty. I had the pork loin with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The pork was seasoned with a really great sweet sauce that set off the offering excellently. The food went down so smoothly that I wondered what happened to the meal. There was plenty of food and I was stuffed. My wife had the Salmon special and she really liked it. There was more that she could eat so she had salmon for lunch the next day. The sides that came with the meal were the same as mine and were of the melt in you mouth type. We had the breads and spreads as an appetizer and couldn't quit eating it until it was gone. The only thing that detracted from the great experience is the bar patrons were close enough that their loud conversations interfered at times with our quiet conversation.

Equipment failure meant they didn't receive our OpenTable so we had to wait a considerable amount of time before they were able to seat us since we had a large party. The food was mediocre and the wait staff not very attentive. Won't be back.

We went there specifically because they accept Passport Unlimited cards but were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a filet mignon with broccolini and mashed potatoes for $18.99! The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very tender and the broccolini was cooked perfectly! Excellent!
