Lake Avenue Restaurant & Bar in Duluth, Minnesota has been around since 1991, back when Canal Park was better known as an industrial harbor rather than a tourist location. The interior at Lake Avenue Restaurant & Bar has a cozy feel to it, thanks in large part to the reclaimed lumber used for the tables, booths and bar as well as thriving plants. When the weather is nice, you can dine on our deck, furnished with Loll patio furniture made locally.
We are a small restaurant, limited to 15 tables and 70 seats indoors. Because of this we are not able to accommodate groups larger than 8 people. If your party is larger than 8 people, please understand that your group may be split at separate tables, potentially not near each other. Please call us to discuss accommodating your large group events.
Due to the invariability of Duluth weather, our deck is non-reservable (with or without dogs) and subject to be closed without much notice. We seat the patio on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Dinner was ok. Drinks were good. 38.00 for (2) Lamb Chops that were pretty lacking of meat. I know they are overpriced but was disappointed w just 2. Otherwise everyone else enjoyed themselves but small portions, big prices.

We love Lake Avenue & ALWAYS go there when in Duluth. We are never disappointed! The food is consistently fresh & delicious. The service is excellent. Go to this restaurant. You will thank me.

Stopped in for late lunch to celebrate a 50th birthday. We enjoyed everything! The “fish and chips” was not what we were exactly thinking it was going to be but it was delightful! The fried noodles was flavorful and spicy, and the lamb burger was large and perfectly cooked! We enjoyed sitting on the patio even though the sun was a bit harsh - the flower boxes around make the patio feel like an oasis away from the parking lot that is right beside it. Highly recommend!

This place never disappoints. There is always something fun, fresh, exciting, and different to try. I can't recommend this place enough.

This is a historically very popular Duluth venue. Outside eating is ideal. Inside is extremely noisy. Food (burgers) was very good. Service was very good as well.

While we ordered all appetizers, the food was excellent and the service was attentive. The bruschetta with blueberry compote and burrata on blueberry lemon zest sourdough bread was amazing. The entire menu looked delicious. We will be back

Absolutely phenomenal brunch. We will be back next time we are in Duluth for sure. Loved it.
