    Great service and the tea sandwiches and sweets were delicious. The room was almost full, and the noise was a bit echoey. Nice big windows, lots of light and view of the Potomac.

    Best tea for 2 in town (including MD VA and Washington DC) hands down! Maiming it a regular get together spot!

    This place seemed fake. We have a long history of birthday teas in our family and this one was a disappointment. The wall next to our table was filthy with spills and scuffs from the table. The sandwiches were overstuffed supermarket sandwich bread with little to no love or seasonings. The pastries were okay. The strawberry tart was full of whipped cream rather than real custard. Everything seemed packaged and sterile. They forgot my daughter’s birthday candle until after they brought the check. It seemed like a bunch of young girls running it with no real leader to care. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

    My daughter and I ate here during a trip to DC and loved it. The atmosphere is great and the food was amazing. It was a little loud but we were there mid day on the weekend and there were several celebrations going on so that was to be expected. We will definitely be back

    The tea room is lovely - clean, comfortable, and the table setting is beautiful. Tea was hot and stayed that way. There were plenty of choices for sandwiches and scones and sweets, and all the food was fresh and delicious.

    Unfortunately, the biggest issue is with the size of the tables for the amount of food, tableware, and tea provided. We had a party of six and felt very crowded. The sandwiches were good but a bit bland. The best being the egg salad among our group. The cucumber salad was very boring. The scones were delicious and so were the variety of teas we had. Another issue is the temperature of the room. Unfortunately, we arrived during the heat wave and we’re quite warm. We noticed that the air conditioning was set to 82°! The service was very attentive and the room very pretty.
