    Unfortunately, the biggest issue is with the size of the tables for the amount of food, tableware, and tea provided. We had a party of six and felt very crowded. The sandwiches were good but a bit bland. The best being the egg salad among our group. The cucumber salad was very boring. The scones were delicious and so were the variety of teas we had. Another issue is the temperature of the room. Unfortunately, we arrived during the heat wave and we’re quite warm. We noticed that the air conditioning was set to 82°! The service was very attentive and the room very pretty.

    Order was messed up twice. Moreover, at the end we were overcharged for things we didn't receive. Disappointed

    What a lovely find. They accommodated gluten free for allergy and vegetarian. Everything was great. My only tiny recommendation is that the butter and jam be brought out at the same time as the food. Our scones were going cold as we awaited the butter. Other than that, excellent!

    I haven’t been to Lady Camelia since the pandemic. I was excited about being here again with my sister - the pricing has gone up but it was still a great ambience and experience.

    Located not too far from the Potomac River in Old Town Alexandria, Lady Camellia offered a perfect ambiance for my friend’s birthday. We had afternoon tea for two people. While the proportion of food could be improved, I enjoyed the daintiness of the establishment. I enjoyed our cutlery and tea cups, and the serving team was attentive and kind. Overall, Lady Camellia provided a wonderful ambiance to our afternoon tea experience.

    Our second time at Lady Camellia and we enjoyed it very much. The tea, choice of scones, tartlets and sandwiches were all superb. We look forward to coming a third time!
