Located in the Historic Pearl, Ladino is a modern Mediterranean grill house celebrating all the cultures and cuisines of the Mediterranean region. Ladino features fresh-made pita from a wood-burning oven, an abundance of dips and small plates, and entrees from the 'mangal' - regional specialties cooked on a live-fire, charcoal grill. We really enjoyed our dinner on the patio. (The inside sounded very loud.) The service was great! The food was really delicious! We tried something from every category including dessert which was really good! (Date cake with Turkish coffee ice cream) The only thing we found lacking was the wine. We enjoyed our choices but the pour was more like a half glass of wine. A bit ridiculous for a nice restaurant.

As always, the food at Ladino was fantastic. However, we visited at the same time an event was going on in the adjacent plaza. I believe that is why it took 15 minutes to get drinks after we placed our order and equally long to get additional bread. The restaurant had a tent out on the plaza for the event to serve food and maybe beverages. This probably was a drain on resources. Note to self, consider timing of visit next time. We ate outside so were able to people watch and enjoy the evening ambiance. The restaurant music battled with the event music for a while, an interesting cacophony.

Great spot for a dinner date. Food was excellent! Drinks were even better. We sat outdoors upstairs. Perfect intimate spot. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend!

The loud music is awful that is why I choice to eat outside where I asked the hostess to lower the terribly loud music. I must say she did her best. Why do people have to have loud music to eat dinner? I guess it is because they lack the ability to have a conversation. The food was very good but many of the dishes had the same sauce. This should have been better explained but of course perhaps I missed the explanation due to the loud music. Good grief turn it down

Food was very good. We ordered the special where the chef prepares all of the dishes. I asked our waitress to slow down the plates of food being served. It did not appear she communicated our request. The meal felt rushed. The food was very good.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to Ladino, and it is without question in my opinion one of the finest restaurants anywhere in the country.
