Highly recommend it. Local residents also eat there which says a lot. And they are open all year round. If we visit Chéticamp again we will eat there!!

Excellent drinks. Food was very, very good. Fresh and great tasting. Particularly loved a broccolini appetizer.

Would recommend to anyone visiting Cape Breton and to locals who haven't been yet, a treasure! Menu is small and concise, something for everyone, but not overwhelming. Focus on local and seasonal. Presentation, atmosphere, and service are hands down best on the Island. Our fries were not as good as usual - but our server noticed and suggested a replacement. Perfect solution in my opinion. The rest of or meals (burger, crab/lobster) were impeccable. Merci beaucoup!

Second time to visit. Again, excellent experience and the second time was even better. Great food, drinks and service. Very enjoyable experience.

We’re not used to have lobster at a fine restaurant not cut open which is how it was served here. No warning either. Request to have it cut was refused. They did not offer bibs. So it was just weird to eat with our hands and risk our shirts getting splattered in a fine (relatively, for Cape Breton) restaurant. Otherwise, the food was good and tasty. There was something in each dish which brings it a notch from the ordinary. The sides of broccolini and summer salad were actually what we enjoyed most! The ambiance was great!

A wonderful find in Cheticamp. After a long day of driving on the Cabot Trail we felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delicious meal. It is a casual space but the service and food are top notch. Highly recommend eating here - dont forget to make a reservation!

Good food, service and beverages. Only place I have ordered a Manhattan which was served in a rocks glass without making that specific request. I suppose it’s not “proper” but is the way I prefer my manhattan. I’m too klutzy for a coupe glass. Excellent cocktail served like I like it! Berry salad, mussels and fish and chips were all very good. Service was also very nice. Looking to visit again while we are here.

Best place to eat dinner in the area for upscale dining. We had mussels (light wine and garlic sauce), seafood pasta and the flat iron steak

Great service and food as always . They seemed to have figured out the music level (still energetic but not over the top ) Staff is very friendly and efficient
