    This is our first time trying this restaurant and no words can express how proud we are to dine in. L’abri offers an exquisite dining experience with flawless service, beautifully presented dishes, and a warm atmosphere. The food was great, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. Talking about service, we had some requests to go out of the menu for drinks, and they didn’t disappointed us. We had the summer salad and chicken wings, they were delicious! But in the mains we had was Chicken tikka masala, could be more flavourful and Spicy. But overall a highly recommended for a perfect date night! A MUST VISIT RESTAURANT IN CHETICAMP!

    Had a lovely meal at L’Abri, the broccolini with togarashi and sesame aioli was especially good. An eclectic menu for such a tiny Acadian town on Cape Breton. Well done!

    What a great find! Excellent food (lobster and crab roll, seafood chowder, truffle and parm fries, and expresso martinis! Absolutely delicious, with a great view of the water.

    Overall a good dining experience. It’s a nice setting overlooking the water. We had broccolini, pan seared scallops, Seafood chowder and seafood linguine. While the chowder was excellent the linguine was good do to pasta being overcooked. Scallops were on the tiny side and were also good. We felt a bit rushed as food arrived too quick and plates being removed as others were still eating.

    Highly recommend it. Local residents also eat there which says a lot. And they are open all year round. If we visit Chéticamp again we will eat there!!

    Excellent drinks. Food was very, very good. Fresh and great tasting. Particularly loved a broccolini appetizer.

    Would recommend to anyone visiting Cape Breton and to locals who haven't been yet, a treasure! Menu is small and concise, something for everyone, but not overwhelming. Focus on local and seasonal. Presentation, atmosphere, and service are hands down best on the Island. Our fries were not as good as usual - but our server noticed and suggested a replacement. Perfect solution in my opinion. The rest of or meals (burger, crab/lobster) were impeccable. Merci beaucoup!

    Second time to visit. Again, excellent experience and the second time was even better. Great food, drinks and service. Very enjoyable experience.
