As always when we have dinner at La Vista, the food was excellent and the service impeccable. Scallops in orange Grand Marnier sauce for me; Cathy had the branzino, prepared at the table to the usual oohs and aahs. A wonderful place.

It's a traditional Italian restaurant where you can eat and be treated very well. Meal portions are enormous, and the wine is excellent!

We love La Vista. It’s our neighborhood restaurant and we feel lucky that they are located so close to our home. We’ll keep coming back. Over and over!

We celebrated my friend Cathy’s birthday last night. We were there for over 3 hours and had such a wonderful dinner and dessert. I loved the Beet salad with grilled chicken. My friend Laura loved her Grilled Calamari with salad and my friend Cathy enjoyed her Grilled Octopus with eggplant. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. The ambiance was very warm and inviting. The decor outside the restaurant is all lit up and has beautiful landscapes that adorn the restaurant grounds. I definitely recommend this restaurant in South Salem for dining-such a treat!

This place is just a gem. It’s a family restaurant and when you eat there it feels like you have been invited into someone’s home. I have been here three times and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Really a very special place.

The whole wait staff was amazing. I don’t remember our servers name but he was very pleasant and did a fantastic job upselling the specials (which my fiance and I both got). We kept marveling oddly at how quickly our water was refilled, but we never felt we were too bothered. Overall an amazing experience and will definitely be back!

Wonderful family run restaurant. We were a party of three. Two ordered off the menu and one selected one of the daily specials. All three were better than expected. Lobster and pasta dish contained significant portions of lobster. Veal dish was also prepared better than expected. And the pasta and seafood special was the best. Service, ambience and surroundings made for a memorable luncheon. Thank you.

Food and service were outstanding. Only issue we had was the price of the specials were not listed and they ended up costing twice the average entire price so ask before you order.
