                                                                Similar to many other reviews. Food very good but not spectacular. Service prompt but almost monastic in the number of words used to communicate. By no means surly but could do with a bit more enthusiasm. Stairs would be a bit of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. All that said, it was a very pleasant place for lunch with a nice atmosphere although the air conditioning was set a tad too low. Make some small tweaks and this would be a five star spot.

                                                                One main course was forgotten and the mutton in the other was definitely a bit tough. Service was disinterested. Desserts were excellent.

                                                                Arrived and the place was empty so lacking in ambience, most people were sitting outside. A number of miscommunications with our orders, lots of backwards and forwards although the staff were perfectly polite. Things looked up when the live singer began and the background music was very welcome despite him playing to 2 tables. The most disappointing thing about the evening though was the food - not so much the quality as the portion sizes and complete lack of value for money. Tapas are small bites, yes but nearly £6 for 2 small slices of sourdough and ordinary butter is robbery as is £16 for cheeseboard which consisted of 3 small triangles of sourdough (there were 2 of us, at least that could have been 4 pieces) and a few slices of thin manchego cheese. Just not good enough, what an extortionate mark up. That should have been no more than a tenner or definitely a more sizeable portion - and I’m not greedy! This was one of the rare occasions where the wine actually worked out better value than the food. I won’t be returning.

                                                                Good buzz - 2pm lunch and was full. Service was great/friendly and food arrived promptly ….of the various tapas we had, only negative perhaps was the calamari which didn’t taste fresh …dry and bland …still a great place to go for good vibe

                                                                Pretty average meal and evening really. Had to wait ages for a cheese dish starter that needed to be cooked (but we weren’t told that) and it came up with the main meal. Very skimpy on olives and crisps despite the price. Padron peppers were a paltry portion - Spanish sausage very oily - meatballs ok - patatas bravas very average. Only decent thing was the meatballs. White sparkling sangria was expensive for what it was and not normal chunky fruit. Staff not very interactive and spent a lot of time hanging round together by the bar instead of getting with the customers and making sure everything ok. Not really what one expects from a Spanish restaurant to be honest. Nice venue and window seat looking over Leadenhall St market area but other than that, it was just about … OK.

                                                                We had a wonderful evening I'm glad I chose to come to La Vina for a fourth date. The food was fantastic, I can especially recommend the croquettes, and the service was immaculate. 10/10 and would definitely visit again.

                                                                Die Tapas sind sehr gut gewesen und die Steaks ehr mittlerer Qualität. Wir haben alle drei probiert. Die Servicekräfte wirkten teils desorientiert. Für Tapas eine gute Location wenn sicherlich auch durch die Lage etwas teuer.
