View is great, food was good , service was rushed and the plastic drink cup (vodka) was very tacky. We ate outside so the noise level was good however inside was unbearable.

La Vela is always outstanding! The food is wonderful, the service is attentive and professional and it’s an excellent place to share dinner with friends. The duck they adapted to meet my wife’s food sensitivities was outstanding, and the other member of our group who got the duck said it was the best he ever had. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

1st time visiting and it won't be our last. Great date night or special occasions restaraunt. Food was amazing, service and location as well. Stairs are the only way up, and we didn't know that, and we're 1 day post knee surgery for my husband but he managed to get up to the restaraunt. True authentic Italian and we enjoyed it!

Octopus appetizer was excellent. Also enjoyed the limoncello martini. We took out of town guests and they loved every morsel of food. Always a solid restaurant with great flavors and sauces. Too full for dessert but will plan better next time.

La vela is always a great dining experience! My husband and I go once a week for date night, and we really enjoy trying out the specials in addition to our regular favorites. When we have guests visiting from out of town, this is our go-to. On this occasion we dined outdoors (the fans made a good dent in the heat) and shared the Summer Bites (YUM), calamari and friends, and the spinach salad. I tried the crab ravioli in Vodka sauce (SO GOOD), hubs and friend had the chicken milanese (Very Light and delicious on a summer evening!) And my MIL had the fettuccine bolognese, one of our all-time favorites. It was too hot for dessert, but hopefully next time! Once the heat breaks! Service was excellent, as always.

Went for our 25th anniversary- it did NOT disappoint! We love the food, the ambiance, and the service. Favorite place in Solomon’s!
