Service was the biggest disappointment. The waiter (he) came to our table to take our food order without asking us if we wanted a drink or started, come on, this is pretty minimum in the industry. When we did order drinks, we ordered a Rose' wine and got a white wine. We didn't make a stink about it as the person drinking it said the white wine tasted ok. Food was good, came fast by the kitchen (not our waiter) and was presented quite nicely.

Very pleased with everyone. I called to say we were running late due to traffic. We still had a table when we got there. The food was great! Wish we could’ve stayed longer and enjoyed it. Hoping to come back next time

Our three lunches were delicious. Everyone was happy. I was extremely happy to have a server who is knowledgeable about celiac and gluten-free. She made tremendous recommendations on her three favorite tacos and they were awesome.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my brother’s birthday. Upon being seated he received a birthday card, which we thought was awesome! So many places do not acknowledge occasions despite being indicated on the reservation, and La Vecina goes above and beyond in this aspect. We had 6ppl in a great corner table. Our server was friendly, but busy. While we didn’t always see her, the manager stopped in on more than one occasion to check in. We felt this helped tremendously with the service level. The chicken enchiladas were a star of the night, as was the guacamole. Highly recommend. Others enjoyed their carne asada and tacos, but the sweet potato taco could be skipped by many. To top off a great night, the manager took care of a tres leches dessert for us and it was such a sweet treat! We will look forward to returning!

The food is outstanding. My husband is a chicken tortilla soup fan and this was almost like a roux with a very complex base that so flavorful. The chicken enchiladas were great but the fun one was the burrito with crispy fish and cucumbers! What fun. They were very busy and the Pilsner my husband ordered came as a dark malt. They assured us it was correct but not convinced. Unfortunately it then took quite a while to get the check. All that said, we will go back because the food was great and the place was fun.

Amazing dining experience for my husband’s birthday! Service, food, ambience & drinks made for a very special evening! Zoe was an exceptional server and the staff were particularly great with my dairy allergy. Can’t wait to return!

Yummy food! Vegetarian friendly! We started with beef empanadas, quesadillas, Mexican street corn, and the trio of dips. All very tasty and perfect for sharing. Two of us ordered the taco plate with a variety of tacos and sides of refried beans and Spanish rice. One ordered the torta (generous portion!), and one ordered the chicken fajitas. We all enjoyed the food and margaritas. The staff were very courteous and we were seated promptly. One of our local favorite restaurants.

Food was fine, drinks good. Service was rushed like they wanted to get clear even though we arrived at 7:45 for an 8pm reservation.

I’ve been twice and it was great both times! I live in Mexico half the year so I usually avoid Mexican in the US, but this is for sure an exception! Highly recommend.

The food, ambience, courtesy of host, waitress were amazing! Best sweet potato tacos we’ve had in our life! They also have a kids menu ! We’ll definitely return again next season! ❤️
