La Trattoria is a family run Italian restaurant specialising in seafood. Gerry and Louise Forte opened La Trattoria in 1970 and since then, it has been run by the family.

During the current Coronavirus outbreak there are restrictions in place, please read them on our website and make yourself aware of them.

Despite the current situation, we are now open again and hope to welcome you soon.

    Great tasting food, good size portions, very friendly staff & service was quick but we didn’t feel rushed, would definitely return again!

    We are regulars and always enjoy our meals the staff are incredible and go above and beyond would,nt go anywhere else.

    Just a very pleasant meal in nice surroundings. Service was good, we had Penne Carbonara and Lasagna and both were very good. We originally looked to book the night before but so suitable times but checked on the day and more times available so check first. Would recommend booking as was busy.

    Bread to share. Cocktail, 2 lagers, 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 digestives (Lemoncello). £145 incl tip. Food excellent, service excellent. Even notice great service to other customers as they arrived. Will be back soon

    i think it’s over priced for what it is and especially my food which was meant to be spicy pasta with chilli’s was very bland and tasteless. won’t be rushing back
