We were fortunate enough to enjoy a lovely meal here before the Covid19 pandemic shut down all of London. This is a chic restaurant in the most sophisticated boutique hotel in a very convenient part of South Kensington. The Food was delicious! We loved the baratta and the fresh calamari and olives. Would highly recommend this place.

Basement location in a hotel provided a pleasant setting for what promised to be a good experience. Give we were the first to arrive for the evening opening we were amazed to be informed that they didn't have any potatoes left! What food we did have was ok, but not worth the prices charged.

Terrible food at a high price. Worst Italian I've eaten at in a long time. Can't remember the last time I literally couldn't finish my main... It's a total tourist trap, best avoided!

Very nice setting, lovely bright pottery plates, staff very friendly and helpful and food great. This was our third visit there and we have enjoyed it very much. Relaxed but smart ambience.

La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo is the perfect location for pre event dining as it is only a short walk from the Royal Albert Hall. However, the food was disappointing and several items from the menu were not available. The veal liver with onions was mostly onions and the little liver was over-cooked with lots of veins. The service was friendly, although not very knowledgeable.
