This was our second visit to La Torretta. We brought some friends too. My friend and I had the Veal Parmagiana and there are choices of potatoes or pasta and veggies. It was very delicious and a large portion. My wife had the Veal Marsala, which she said was very good -- also a large portion. The other dish ordered was the Salmon which was also yummy. The food is nicely plated, looks very appetizing, and tastes good. Darius and Tom, who personally serve you are also the owners. They are very accommodating and if there is a dish you would prefer to something on the menu, you just need to tell them what you want, and if they can, they will make it for you. Overall it was a very nice experience and we will be back. If you are considering going, I recommend that you make a reservation. It is a small, neighborhood place and they only have 9 tables.

As always, the dinner was magnificent! The service is top notch, so friendly and accommodating. I wish I could say I tried something different, but I am absolutely hooked on their Sunfish Milanese,Hawaiian : Panko crusted, angel hair pasta, garlic & oil, sautéed vegetables. Best seafood dish anywhere! And my husband always gets the Bolognese spaghetti, beef and veal ragu meatball & sausage. The amount of food is amazing. Plus the best Caesar salad, big enough to split between 2, so you can save room for dinner.

We love to go to La Torretta. The food is absolutely delicious. This night we had a Caesar salad (which is always great), the meatball appetizer, Hawaiian sunfish, and ravioli stuffed with sirloin steak. Everything was phenomenal. Service is perfect and we always feel welcomed and very happy to be there.

We returned again this year after a great dinner last year when we were in Scottsdale. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and our server's attention. Each of our entrees, salads, and dessert were delicious and generous in size (easily enough for a second meal at home). 2 of us felt, however, that there was too much dressing on our salads, and will order dressing on the side next time we dine here. Also, I, as the one making the reservation, do not appreciate having to charge $25 per diner in order to confirm the reservation. I understand that a small establishment such as La Torretta needs to ensure people don't make reservations then do no-shows or cancel, but to do a hold on $75 for 3 people seems a bit over the top. We will return next year when in the area, but just wanted to make my feelings known about the requirement to confirm a reservation here. We are not people who make dinner reservations through OpenTable, then do no-shows or cancel at the last minute unless there is a true emergency.

We have been here twice and were not disappointed either time. The owners/staff are very welcoming and personally wait on the tables. The portions are large, food is excellent, and the cost is reasonable. The menu is varied and they are willing to modify a dish to your particular requests. The cheesecake was the best I've ever had and I'm from NY. We will definitely return.
