Roberto, owner of the restaurant, wanted to give his restaurant an elegant and refined imprint, which also communicated fidelity to traditions in the furnishings. The food at this restaurant is very good. We were seated next to the entrance and it was a very warm evening. The heat inside is sufficient to be distracting from a nice meal; the air just did not move and the AC, if it was on, was ineffective. I suggest eating outside if it is a warm/hot day in Bologna.

Ho ordinato menù tipico bolognese (tagliatelle e cotoletta alla bolognese) carne tenera e saporita, cosi per le tagliatelle. Mia moglie gnocchi ai porcini a sua detta molto buoni. Prezzi in linea in Bologna. Esperienza sicuramente positiva, oltretutto in pieno centro storico a due passi dalle Torri e dall'hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato.

I appreciated that this restaurant has kept traditional food with a nice variety of flavors and choices. Very fun authentic evening!

Great food, Great service. We went twice on our trip to Bologna, both times were very good. The front of house happy to explain the menu.

It is our very favourite restaurant in town. We dine there two or three times when we visit Bologna. Food is delicious and service is great. Love their mushroom salad, Cotoletta Bolognese and of course their tagliatelle.

Schönes kleines Restaurant. Speisekarte eher klein. Gerichte waren fein aber nicht Weltklasse. Service war sehr freundlich, aber nicht alle kannten sich mit der Speisekarte und Getränken aus. Anstelle des bestellten Weins kam ein leicht günstigeres Ersatzprodukt, welches aber die Erwartungen erfüllt hat.

A disappointing dining experience. The staff were very unwelcoming. We were initially sat downstairs in a cellar room which only had one other table with diners. It felt depressing so we asked to be moved. After a few minutes we were seated in the main dining area. Initially we felt that the staff were treating us with indifference because we had asked to be moved but they appeared to be treating the majority of customers this way. The food felt average, maybe this was because we were not enjoying our dining experience due to the unwelcoming staff. I could not recommend this restaurant as there are so many more in Bologna that not only serve excellent food but also have friendly staff providing good service.

We had dined here a year ago and had, had a lovely experience. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive and the food was delicious. We were really looking forward to our return. We arrived a little early but were told our table was ready. Instead of sitting upstairs, as we had been last year we were taken down the stairs where a table was placed on a landing with people sat having a drink. They were ushered away, further down the stairs to the basement dining area where their table was located. We waited while our table was re-laid. This table was completely isolated from all the others either upstairs or further downstairs. Once sat down we realised not only were we sat next to a noisy air conditioning unit but also next to the entrance to the toilet. As our experience the previous year was so good we thought we’d persevere and asked the waiter for a wine list which he gave us. He looked flustered and his sweat dropped on to our table cloth. We then waited around 10 minutes and no one came to take our drinks order. When the waiter finally turned up we asked if we could move tables. A waitress turned up and we explained the noisy air conditioner and proximity to the toilets and with real arrogance she said it was this table or nothing and walked off. We decided to leave and the owner stopped us. We explained our situation and we got the same arrogant manner showing us the door. Very disappointing.

Locale molto particolare che sa di casa come il cibo delizioso. Il proprietario e lo staff gentilissimi. Torneremo sicuramente.
