La Strada Italian Kitchen and Bar, located in downtown Birmingham, is an authentic Italian Restaurant opened by Restaurateur and Chef Zharko Palushaj in late 2015. He began developing his concept in 2013 when he was named Restaurateur of the year by Hour Magazine. The menu features top quality of Italian/European products, variation of aged and fresh cheeses, salumis, pizzas, in-house made pasta, fish and seafood flown from all over the world. We also include top American beef and poultry , classic desserts and gelato. As our Chef-Owner's philosophy states, "Old world meets New world, where quality meets preparation and European style service meets expectations of the guests". Passion, quality, attention to details, and most importantly dedication to his wonderful guests make La Strada a world of its own. To serve you is a real privilege and pleasure!

The food spectacular. The prices are high. Good service. I thought at one time they included the tip. Not anymore. Also charging to use your credit card is not good business. Who carry’s enough cash to pay for 75-100 meal per person ?!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review! Our prices are lower than Italian restaurants in our area on some dinner items. Unfortunately, credit card charges are a common occurrence, even for the smallest purchases. We have kept some food prices lower, despite rising food prices and our food quality being the highest in the market. We hope our prices are fair. Please note that we do not include tips in the bill. Best Italian dining in Detroit! Zarco and his team are amazing, menu is solid and always something a bit new and exciting. By far the best meat and cheese selections around and the pasta is always perfect. Ask for a wine recommendation- they have NEVER disappointed. Do not miss this place.
