This was my first time dining at La Serre. I was celebrating my birthday. First off the restaurant is beautiful, love the vibe. We sat in the way back area that is for larger parties. Didn’t really like the spot but it is what it is. The food was good, but my girlfriend had an awful experience. She had a hair in her appetizer and then another one in her pasta dish🤢!! OMG is was disgusting and in 2 of her dishes!!! We told our waitress and they did apologize and took it off our bill. The waitress was very nice but she seemed a bit overwhelmed. It took forever to get drinks and our food took a pretty long time as well. We had to keep asking for napkins, silverware and she would forget. Also, she got our drinks wrong a few times. Maybe this was due to restaurant week, or maybe understaffed. Idk. To be honest, I would not return to this restaurant. I was excited to try this place, but I was really disappointed.

Everything went well after we were seated however, we understand it’s restaurant week and knew we were going to have a wait. As we waited and 45 minutes passed by. Other couples were getting seated and even groups of 3 or 4. It wasn’t until we decided to speak to the host was when they finally sat us. There was a couple who arrived after us and were seated. Overall, the waitress was amazing and the food was spectacular. Would have given it a 5 but the host just kept given us the runaround.

We were sat 45 past our reservation time and dinner took two hours once seated. We waited 20 minutes between courses. Staff was friendly and apologetic but overall experience was very poor.

We had to ask for the waitress to come by the table to get us our second drink order which then came after we had our meal.

First time dining, this was a girls night to celebrate. We did the restaurant week menu and everything was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic. There was a delay in dessert however the manager came out to apologize. The place was packed with people waiting still when we left around 9:30
