La Posada is a Mexican restaurant concept that features cuisine from the Yucatan peninsula and southern regions of Mexico. Due to the geographic location, the peninsula of Yucatan has developed signature flavors that are unlike any other found in the Mexican Republic. La Posada will spotlight pre-columbian and mestizo dishes that combine native fruits and vegetables with spices brought to the continent by the conquest. This restaurant is a tribute to the late Felix Rosado and the cantina bears his name. Felix was a Mexican immigrant who lived in Milford, Pennsylvania and opened the original La Posada Mexican Restaurant in Dingman’s Ferry in the late 1980’s. The restaurant was not just a destination for tourists visiting the Poconos; it became a favorite to locals. Milford Hospitality Group is proud to honor Felix and carry on the legacy of La Posada; an experience many people still remember fondly.

Great Food and Festive Atmosphere! We would definitely go there again. Best Mexican dishes. It is Yucatán based which was different and better than other Mexican places.

We ordered the Mai Mai tacos (a must and a normalnorder for my husband) and the fried red snapper. The tacos were overstuffed with light flavourful perfectly fried peices of fish. The red snapper was gigantic and fried crispy outside with soft fleshy meat in the inside. My new favorite there. The fish was gigantic. The drinks were good as usual. A definite must try if you haven't ventured in yet and if you have, well than you know how good it is.

This place was such a cute find for our family. We had a table in a back room that was removed from the main dining area somewhat. It created a nice quiet dinner for us which we loved. We were still able to hear the great live local Latin music playing on the front deck. The meal was tasty and portions were perfect. Definitely worth our trip here.

The food was very well prepared. We shared the tuna ceviche as an appetizer and had a variety of unique tacos for our main course. Our server was so nice and efficient, and the classic Mexican music was really lovely.

Hidden gem off the beaten path in Milford Pa. Fresh and creative food, not your typical Mexican cuisine. Drinks are delicious. Atmosphere is fun. Service is amazing. A staple .

Food is not the usual Mexican, but truly delicious. We both enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent, ambience was very comfortable. We will be back!

Love everything about this place. Food and drinks are excellent and the staff is great. Best spot for Mexican in the area and maybe the best restaurant overall in Milford. Been here with my husband a few times, always a good experience, so when I had some friends coming for Cinco de Mayo weekend, we came here and everyone loved it.

Went with a friend and we both had the fish dish. It was delicious. The best guava margaritas. Tres leches cake was so good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely return in the future.
