We were perfectly attend to from the moment we arrived. Interesting wine selection with an insightful, thoughtful somm. Food was delicious. Swordfish and Osso Bucco were our mains. The scallop starter was outstanding. A great birthday celebration for two.

The food was overly salty, not well cooked or presented. The best thing we had was a salad. The appearance of the restaurant is great but it feels like an all pomp no substance type of restaurant.

Food was surprisingly good, especially an innovative dish of foie gras with crepes Suzette, never had this combination before, very well balance. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked, overall a great dining experience at this French cuisine 😋

Let’s start with the positives: the food is good. Having lived in the south of France for eight years before moving to Canada, I can say the food here isn’t spectacular, but the kitchen has a solid understanding of French cuisine. The interior design is pleasant and has a French feel, and the music is French too. While it doesn’t fully immerse you as if you’re in France, it’s a decent attempt. Now for the negatives: the service. No one speaks French, which is disappointing for a place calling itself a French bistro. The wait staff doesn’t know how to properly set a table—fork on the left, knife and spoon on the right. The waitress was somewhat rude (not verbally, but in behavior) and not trained to the level the restaurant claims to be. She treated us as if we were at a dive bar, rushing to put plates on the table without any elegance or class. The staff also didn’t understand the courses, bringing all the plates at once. Sharing for the table doesn’t mean bringing soups, hors d’oeuvres, and entrees together. Lastly, we spoke to the manager. While a small gesture of compensation was appreciated, he missed the main point: the staff needs proper training. Bottom line, it’s a good spot for a quick drink before continuing your journey at The Well.

One of our favorite places to have brunch or lunch with our friends! The food is amazing the drinks are yummy, the service is grate and you feel like you are somewhere in France in a nice restaurant!

Great location, beautifully decorated, good ambiance and service. The food was superb. I would only criticize the rush service, perhaps it was that we came in early, but I would have preferred a slower paced evening.
