We had a great dinner & the service was good. It would have been better if the fire alarm hadn't gone off.

Service left a lot to be desired. They were not busy at all and our table was never cleaned even though we finished eating for more than 30 mins. It got to the point we had to ask the server to clean it for us. Expected way better service for a fancy place like this. The food and setting were great though.

The food and drinks were good. Service could have been a bit more attentive there were a few times where I wanted to order an additional item but was left unattended. Our plates were on the table for a significant amount of time after finishing our meals. The space is very nice. They were accommodating of food allergies.

There was a minor misfire on the service. These things happen. What was less common was the outstanding and thoughtful response from the manager. Very clear that the manager took the minor misfire seriously and it left a great impression. Food was amazing and will definitely come back. A great addition to Toronto's restaurant scene. I look forward to repeat visits. ps - the gnocchi are outstanding.

I’ve been here twice for Brunch and so far so good. Service is good, food is good and cocktails too! I’ll definitely will come back to try lunch and dinner menu. Would recommend, bonus is the ambiance.

I've been wanting to check out La Plume for a while and finally went in for dinner on Saturday night! I was promptly greeted with a warm welcome from Marcus, who was personable and attentive. He really made my dining experience great and I would highly recommend him as your server. The food was amazing as well. I had the escarole Caesar and the seared branzino, which were done beautifully! The branzino was cooked to perfection and the vinaigrette sauce paired excellently with the fish.

Love the vibes and we really enjoyed our dishes! Had the beef tartare to start. Our mains were the steak frites (ny striploin) and ocean trout, then finished off with the crème brûlée. I’d order these dishes again without hesitation! Everything tasted so fresh, steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and trout was very flakey. Our server was also very attentive and I loved her positive attitude. We’ll definitely be back!

Great happy hour experience and great bar bites. This has nothing to do with the restaurant but there was a mental guy holding plastic BB gun shooting at the air and making gun shot sounds while passing by restaurant patio. The host manager (?) in green top was professional and came to every table to ensure us it's fake gun shots and he's probably crazy. The mental guy came cycling back and did a few more fake gun shots but he didn't got his attention and left so I guess the host manager made all of us sitting at patio so comfortable that the mental guy didn't get what he wanted and it worked!
