Food was decent; only thing I’d come back for is the french onion burger and fries. Service was excellent, Brandon was an excellent bartender

Love La Plume, first time going for brunch and was not disappointed. We shared the breakfast bruschetta, amazing! Followed by the La Plume breakfast. Perfect sunny side up eggs and lamb sausage is an unusual delight! Cocktails and service on point to match the delicious food.

Genuinely one of the worst dining experiences i’ve ever had. The hostess sat me down at the bar which I requested, as i was sitting down I noticed the two spots had not been bussed from the previous customer. (Full glasses of water and napkins). Bartender asked me what water i wanted (after 15 mins of being sat) i replied tap, and ordered a cocktail. Did not recieve cocktail order for another 20 mins, bar tender came back to ask what drinks we had ordered & let us know that he had forgot to punch them in. Mind you the restaurant is not even 1/4 capacity full on a Saturday night. He proceeds to bring us our cocktails (still no water). The hostess finally comes by to pour us water (we have been sitting for probably 40 minutes at this point), she pours water into the cup that belonged to the customer BEFORE us, which still had not been cleared from our spots at the bar. I let her know she was filling a glass of water that was the previous customers cup. She replied “gross”. We ordered food, salad was inedible - one of the most bitter salads I’ve ever had in my life. My cocktail tasted off - to which my friend agreed. The drink tasted stale / moldy (I could taste the ice). The bartender took the salad off of the bill which i appreciated. They suggested that we try the speak easy up stairs after dinner so we did. We go up to the speak easy, we ask the bartender what tequila they had as we wanted to order 2 shots. She looks at us, points at the bar and said “thats what we have”. Me and my friend looked at each-other and started laughing. We order 2 shots, and the manager starts pouring them infront of us - she is pouring the shot into the shot glass and it is overflowing and she did not seem to notice … she asked us how our experience was and we said it was not good. She took our drinks off the bill. Me and my friend were sick all night / the next day after eating here. It was one of the weirdest / worst experiences I’ve had in a while.

Amazing food! Get the duck and the pistachio pea ravioli! So good, the duck was so tender and melted in my mouth and good portion sizes. The service was slow which was the only downside, I think maybe they were understaffed because it wasn’t that busy.

Not much of a selection of top shelf liquor and the washrooms were not maintained very well with overflowing garbage cans. Other then that, food was fantastic and service was great.

Average at best. Decor is beautiful. Service was initially great, then disappeared and had to find someone to get a bill. Food was OK, but nothing special

The service was amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable! The French onion soup and crête brulé were delicious!! I had the lamb and it was a little overdone and tough. Others had the duck and liked it. I found the prices quite high for the quality. The present rations were beautiful. Donna Sept 28, 2024

Our server for dinner, Georgie, was the sweetest and made great recommendations. The duck was great, the crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had - even the strawberries on it were so tasty. After dinner went up to the speakeasy where Karl took great care of us, he was very helpful and charming - the drinks were great and the experience was great!
