    La Plage was the perfect place for a leisurely lunch with an old friend. The view was spectacular and the service attentive but not rushed. Food was good and we both agreed we'd be back in the future.

    La Plage is one of our favorites, with the menu and service consistently excellent. This time, however, we received items we didn’t order (which we sent back) that ended up on the check, items we did order never making it to the table, and the items we received being really disappointing and lackluster. Will come again and assume it was a fluke.

    La Plage is a great brunch spot in Westport when you need a reservation. A friend of mine met there on a VERY windy day, and we were seated on the outdoor patio. A ton of table-scape objects were falling on the floor before the staff decided to start closing some of the plastic blinds. That said, the staff are very responsive and helpful. The price fixed menu is a great option, and we both ordered drinks and our mains from that. The value of that menu is very good! Would recommend.

    We had a delicious meal. Our server Theresa was excellent; Very professional, knowledgeable. She always approached at the just right time (w/o interrupting conversation, just as we had a question or were ready to order or for dessert) without our having to look for her. She really made for a wonderful experience.

    Had a lovely evening, but would think twice about going back, as the noise level was so high it was very hard to have a conversation. This could be fixed: there is room in the porch ceiling, where the support beams are for padding. Acoustic tiling is not be most beautiful, but, neither is the ceiling, itself. The tiles would be so high up in the support structures, that they should be completely unnoticeable. More sound absorption could be installed under the window. Fabric valances above the windows would also be helpful. (So would table cloths, but then it would be a different restaurant.

    We had a lovely lunch at La Plage with some friends we haven’t seen in years. We weren’t able to sit outside due to the high winds but our inside corner table with shades open to the cool breeze was perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and the lobster roll served on toasted herb bread was delicious!! Overall a perfect luncheon in a perfect setting with good friends!!

    Met my daughter in law granddaughter and great granddaughter there for lunch. Views are amazing. Lobster rolls small for the price. Lovely day though!!
