    Overall the experience was very good. Something to improve is that when I arrived, the table was not ready and we had to wait for additional 10 minutes. Due to this delay, we had to order in a hurry since the kitchen was going to close.

    The food and service was very good. My friend and I both had the papardelli fungi and I thought the sauce on the pasta was a bit heavy. Other than that all was great as usual.

    The food looks good and the atmosphere is nice and the service is good but the food just doesn’t taste that great. I’m so surprised Eataly doesn’t do a better job making Italian food. We had two different pasta dishes and neither one was very good. We left disappointed.

    Very average food. Nothing outstanding or worth going back for In My opinion. The Suppli starter wasn’t that great as they didn’t really taste like anything and there was hardly any mozzarella in the balls. They were dry and when I asked for sauce, extra charge. The ravioli was good but felt like it needed more flavour. Portion size is good. Sourdough was dry and they don’t provide butter even if asked. Overall, I wouldn’t go back when they are so many excellent Italian restaurants in the city.

    I’ve had much better meals here in the past. The quality of food was below par. The server was absolutely fabulous , and I don’t say that often.

    We had a very disappointing experience at La Pizza and La Pasta. It was the worst one this summer! It was our first time there, and my husband and I were very excited to try it. Our server was quite abrupt taking our order and was not very helpful. She told us it will take a while for the pizza to come out, and we could not get the salad first. At the end, they both came around the same time. The barbabietole salad was poor value and was mostly lettuce. Our pizza- margarita a la … with cheese balls on top, was watery and tasteless. It also arrived lukewarm. When we told the server, she said it’s because it’s a thin crust. The manager came and told us they will make a new one. We should have asked for another kind, but didn’t. When we first arrived at the restaurant, we saw a booth by the window,and asked to be seated there. Were told it’s minimum 3 people, and we were 2. So they put us at a tiny table in the corner. We then saw 2 of the booths with 2 people at each. Not very fair. When our server was serving the table next to us, which was very close, her whole back was in my face as I was trying to eat! Very unpleasant! The bill was $50.85, a real waste of money. And I still left a tip- big mistake. I have tried to contact someone in the restaurant today but no luck. There is voice mail all the time. I left a message. No one called. One manager did answer but did not stay on the line! Please call me to discuss this further. 416 543 3778 Helen
