A traditional stop when we are shopping at the Prudential Building. Eataly was busy as usual but always fun to look around especially in the wine shop. After doing so, off to La Pizza. Unfortunately, not our best experience. Hostess was inconvenienced by our presence aka the reason for her job. When we were seated, we were forgotten for about 15 minutes. I returned to the same hostess who had the same attitude. As I walked back our friend asked the passing server for help, it turns out to be her table. She had walked by several times without acknowledging us. Weird. We ordered pizza & drinks. Ate & left. Pizza was delicious as always. Problem - first time our friends had been to Eataly. They enjoyed the pizza but the service has them questioning whether to return. We will in hopes of better service. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Showing my age, but this was reminiscent of a meal at the Woolworth's counter, best served with your shopping bags plopped down beside you.

I wasn’t expecting one of the prix fixe course to have so many tomatoes but I get what I’ve asked for! The second course was yummy! I would absolutely go for this dish again. Calamari wasn’t as flavorful as I thought but it’s okay. Overall, it was a good experience! Thank you for serving me!

Food was bomb. The arancini was incredible, the pizza was incredible and the pasta was to die for. We ordered a fried chicken cutlet on the side to have with our pasta and it was actually the best chicken cutlet I’ve ever had in my life. It was crispy, moist, flavorful and seasoned to perfection. I took a bite of my bucatini cacio e pepe pasta and a bite of that chicken cutlet and it felt like my soul was transported to the hills of southern Italy where I became a humble farmer with a wife and three beautiful children. I lived that life until I was done chewing and I swallowed. That bite felt like home. 10/10 would be soul transported into the body of a southern Italian farmer again.

I always love it here but instead of complimentary bread they now charge you for just the basic bread with olive oil (just factor it in somewhere else so you don’t look so obviously cheap). They’ve also changed the menu a little so my favorite meal was no longer available. Our waiter was very annoying, hovering too much as if he was hurrying us along. But overall, still love it!
