Ce bistrot de quartier situé à Cleveland Park reste fidèle à ses racines françaises et sert les meilleurs plats français de ce côté de l'Atlantique Son chef exécutif Francis Layrle prépare un menu quotidien à base d'ingrédients frais et de saison. Le bar propose une sélection de vins et de cocktails maison. La Piquette dégage une atmosphère de bistrot authentique, simple et délicieuse.

    A very pleasant experience. We dined early, only a few tables had patrons so the experience was delightfully peaceful. The greeting was quite cheerful, including the offer to take our coats. We were given our choice of seating for our reservation and chose to be near the window. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Bread was brought. We chose not to have wine with dinner this evening. The meals and soup du jour were delightful.

    Super attentive staff, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere (and clientele!) made this a superior dining experience. We especially enjoyed the oysters, red ginger fizz cocktails, and the dessert selections!

    This is among my favorite restaurants in Washington DC when it comes to just having a lovely delicious meal in the nicest atmosphere  with the most wonderful service. It never disappoints.

    Superior in all ways. Food was excellent, service precise and attentive, server herself friendly and helpful. We had appetizers, wine, mains, dessert and coffee. Each was spot on, but I’ll single out my shrimp ceviche as the star of my night. As good as I’ve had. Shrimp fresh and just the right size (6 maybe 25/30 sized), tender, sitting on a bed of mixed fresh greens with fennel slices, in perfectly seasoned lime juice. Scallops excellent with an orange/fennel purée that was unique and flavorful. Desserts were particularly good: lava cake, Iles flotant, coconut sorbet, crème brulet all very well done. And great coffee. And a wicked nice vibe to the place. And kudos to our exceptional waitress, Ana. Wish I lived in DC so I could go there often.

    This is one of the very few places in the DMV that’s closest to authentic French unpretentious yet lovely food. Service is attentive and warm.

    It was chilly inside. Had to wear a scarf. The halibut was over cooked. In general an underwhelming experience, but a hefty price tag. The servers were friendly though.
