    Although you are paying “restaurant” prices you are essentially getting cafeteria food. For example no substitutions and being told that the food may not arrive at the same time for all people because it may be cooked in different locations. Nevertheless the place is jam packed, which is a sad commentary on the decline of restaurant options in central Toronto.

    it was very disappointing to arrive and find a completely different menu from what was posted online for the prix fixe special promotion. i specifically chose this restaurant because of the menu and invited others, only to arrive and each of us find that options were changed. very poor form.

    Our server Jose was very professional and an absolute pleasure. He had the best energy, we would come back just to see Jose.

    The muscles were small but more than half of them empty. The broth was very watery. The potatoes were uncooked. The toast was burnt. Also the focaccia was uncooked and doughy. .

    Pizza unfortunately was a bit soggy on the bottom in spots Had to flag down any service people in order to -get them to take our order -ask them what happened to the 2nd appetizer we ordered. They admitted ‘communication error’ with the kitchen staff - ask to get our bill I understand it was busy for 7pm on a Saturday night, but what Saturday night wouldn’t be.

    Beautifully appointed & lively atmosphere. Whole fish was over cooked—which was disappointing given the restaurant is adjacent to Eataly’s fish counter. They don’t provide cream for coffee (really?). I struggle with having to pay for bread at a restaurant.
