It was our first time at Eatly Plazza at Sherway Gardens, in the Toronto area, and I'm left with mixed feelings. Vygha, the hostess, was unfortunately not accommodating and displayed a poor attitude when we initially asked for a table without a reservation. She informed us we'd have to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes and did not offer the option of the "piazza" (a different area of the same venue which they call a "different restaurant"—explanation of the manager). There were plenty of tables available, and I made a reservation through the OpenTable app as I was leaving the restaurant after being turned down by this hostess. When we returned just 1 minute later, her response was unprofessional—she gave us a dirty look and rolled her eyes. This is not the behavior you'd expect from the first point of contact at a restaurant. On a brighter note, Tyler H, our server, completely turned our experience around. He was exceptionally friendly and efficient, taking our drink and food orders promptly. The food itself was excellent. Despite the initial negative encounter with the hostess, the good service from Tyler H made our visit enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, hoping the hosting staff improves.

I have always enjoyed my visits to eataly. My 10 year old daughter asked me if she could give you a 5 star review. We love your restaurant and it's become such a staple for us

The food was absolutely outstanding. Our server Lucca was an absolute delight, his recommendations were spot on & we sincerely enjoyed chatting with him, the perfect balance between engaging with us & giving us our privacy. All the staff were lovely. A wonderful experience, we will be back. Thank you!

This was our first time at the Sherway location. We had an awesome time. We were greeted well at the Pizza Restaurant. The guest service was amazing. Food was good, exempt for the seafood pasta. I thought the pasta was extremely al dente. Overall experience was good. We will definitely go back.

I wish we could have also ordered off the other menus, but we found the pizza in the take out area was better than off the menu!!

Very disappointed in the quality of the food. Firstly meatballs are taken off the appetizer menu and placed on the mains section with a massive increase in price. Main meal braised meat was tiny and came out cold. Polenta was chunky. For the most expensive dish in Main it was terrible. Spaghetti noodles changed from thick homemade to boxed. No more hot oil you get chili flakes. Doesn’t make sense. Apparently it’s too costly. High prices and low quality food. Very disappointed.

The servant was not attentive. She was too busy getting training for making drinks for others. We got our pizza late and cold. The pasta came too late when we were full from eating pizza. She also forgot to bring the pasta and the drink for my daughter so we had to remind her a couple times. It was an awful experience and I won’t eat T this restaurant again.

Massive wait even with reservation and many empty seats. Food was good but extremely small portion and poor value for $. Took ages to get our bill. Do not recommend.
