Experience the authentic flavours of Spain at La Perla with our renowned Rib Eye Steak Paella Rubia Gallega is a breed of cattle indigenous to Galicia. This beef is produced exclusively from this breed. The beef graze on the meadows of Galicia for up to 8-12 years where they grow big and fat and put on layers of marbled fat. This gives the beef an extraordinary flavour, an intense beefy-ness and succulence brought about by the high marbling of the meat. The consensus used to be that old means tough, but this beef is dry aged which not only further intensifies the flavour but also tenderises the meat.

Having booked a week or so in advance and being told that they had 200 covers that night, I was expecting the restaurant to be busy and service to maybe be a bit slow. What I wasn't expecting was for half the menu not to be available, including basics such as tortillas and bread! And this was only 8.45pm. This left my party with a very limited choice, particularly as we are not great meat eaters. When we did place an order, service was very slow for some of it, some dishes were cold and one didn't turn up at all! So, although I am prepared to accept that, on a good night this might be a lovely place to dine, I am afraid that on the Saturday night we visited, the limited menu choice was simply unacceptable

1st visit as new to Bath. Arrived and the venue is cute, quite romantic,good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was ok - I was a little disappointed if I’m being honest as I read a few great reviews prior to booking. We booked quite early so it was pretty quiet when we arrived but it soon filled up and due to the underground location the sound magnified and the smell from the kitchen also became an unpleasant noticeable feature. Ended on a low with the coffee machine not working. I was happy I went as the venue was cute but think I would have rather just had a drink and skipped the food - it fell heavy on my stomach afterwards too.

Delicious food cooked and spiced very well. If I lived in the area I would be a regular customer. I’m only sorry I couldn’t eat more.

Such a great restaurant, food was absolutely delicious, arrived very quickly and everything was so tasty. Staff were really knowledgeable, great service. We will definitely return. Thank you.

La Perla is not just a food adventure but an experience. The staff are very accomodating and attentive. They guided us to our table and answered all of our questions. Suggesting which Paella is best. The Sangria is perfect pair. It is smooth and fruity. The star however is the Paella. Chef Momo went out of his way to bring us to a Paella journey. He explained how each component contributes to the whole gastronomic adventure. The ambiance is suitable may it be if you are out on a date or dinner with family. Overall its an awesome dinner night out and we will definitely comeback.

Absolutely superb food. Every dish was a delight with some favourites on the menu and some really unusual things but they were all sensational. Lovely staff, great atmosphere. It was noisy so if you really struggle with acoustics, you might find it a bit much but we were able to chat easily with the people beside and opposite us; just not a big with the whole table at once. Good wine list which complimented the food really well. All in all, I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Superb food; fleshly cooked to order; beautifully presented; can't be beaten for the best tapas in Bath! One of our favourite restaurants and with the new ownership earlier this year, the quality has not faltered. Gets busy at weekends (and quite noisy in the first vaulted section of the restaurant, so we always try and request the adjoining section away from the bar). But this time we visited mid-week and it was lovely and relaxed, quiet and service impeccable. Highly recommended. Lovely range of dishes; plenty of fish and veggie options; and great to mix and match. Wine by the glass also good value too.

Had the best date night here! The waiters were exceptional, energetic and had perfect attention to detail. Food was delicious and the Chef even checked in on us, too. 100% will be back for the Paella! Thank you!

Good value for money , nice atmosphere and friendly staff but food was decent if I little in the heavy side , service was a bit slow although it was a Saturday night - it was very good value for money though!
