Small serving was not commensurate to high price of food. A special menu of two soft-shell crabs and a small mound of pasta does not merit a $54 price. Definitely overpriced. Beware of special menus where they rattle off the name of the dish and what they are but never tell you the price.

The restaurant itself is very nice, with a good ambiance. The service left a great deal to be desired, and the servers were very pushy to add items to increase the check. We were not told the price of the specials, which turned out to be ridiculously expensive, especially the Fruiti di Mare. The meal was fair at best. I have had better at La Pergola on previous occasions. The total check without tip came to $165+, and with no dessert. And this is a BYO restaurant !! I have eaten here on several occasions when going to Paper Mill afterwards. This visit was the most disappointing. There are other restaurants in Millburn with better food and a more reasonable price.

When walking in the door I thought it was a wedding decided ok food might be good. Well not. Prepared to in advance service cold If a foodie Donot go there

Appetizers and dinner were outstanding! Service was excellent. This is a bring your own bottle which is a plus. Highly recommend La Pergola!

A very comfortable restaurant, where we feel at home. The food is amazing, with careful attention to details. And, the prices are friendly too. As great an Italian meal as can be found in NJ.

We had a group of 7 after a show at the Papermill. We had a wonderful meal where the service was outstanding. The waiters were funny and patient and kind. I can’t wait to go back.

What a nice outside area to eat- heaters/ etc. The chicken park special was absolutely delicious and huge. Had it for dinner the next night too.

The food was great and plentiful. It was crowded and not all the tables were filled yet. Noise level was high. Outside seating was available and would have been a good choice. Service was excellent.

I had dinner with friends after a show at the Papermill. It was a beautiful night so we opted for the patio seating in the back of the restaurant. We shared a couple of appitizers and each had a main course. I had gnocchi with short ribs. It was delicious pillows of flavor. The meat was bite sized and so tender. We shared 2 desserts and with cappuccino. The noise level was minimal as compared to being inside which can be a bit lively. How lovely to spend an October night outside under tavern lights in NJ. ( even though we were having Italy vibes ;) I would gladly go again. Ciao!
