Truly hits and misses . The Jipajapa without a doubt the highlight and the lentil moro a pleasantly flavorful surprise. The brujo fish filet from the grill was over cooked and close to devoid of seasoning . And the $9 side of asparagus was between a rip off and an embarrassment.they were startling this and like the fish filet ,it’d seem they were scrimping with regard to seasoning. from a price to flavor standpoint that asparagus might’ve been worth $1.50

Food was delicious - very fresh seafood! Restaurant recently opened - so staff still working out some kinks. Staff was friendly, informative and responsive.

It's been out 3rd time visiting La Pata Gorda, as always the hostess was amazing and welcoming, the food runners as well. The food was delicious. But in this occasion our server was not very amicable. The server did not introduce herself, didn't offer any suggestions, wasn't very patient when we weren't ready to order our food. Snapped at us when we order our cocktails. She wasn't very pleasant in general. It's the small details that count, when other tables order the check we saw they were given some kind of courtesy shot, we didn't get that and we didn't even get our printed check in the little crab ceramics that is so lovely and unique of the place. We understand not everyone was going to be cheerful all the time and I understand this is the exception not the norm but it did influence our visit not being a 5 star visit as it has been other times.
