La Palombe is a neighbourhood French bistro that showcases the terroir of the Pyrenees & French Basque Country.

A large wood burning grill and rotisserie takes centre stage where the majority of our dishes are cooked over live embers. The short menu changes daily and concentrates on plates with a sense of history and provenance, including our speciality of wild and foraged foods.

The wine list is sourced entirely from independent producers, and regularly updated with a specialised focus on low intervention, natural and biodynamic wines.

We are across the road to the Design Museum & Holland Park, a 10 minute walk from Kensington Olympia and a short distance to the Royal Albert Hall.

Great evening and delicious meal at La Palombe! Food quality and service are really good but prices still a bit too high for the experience. Please add some real bread for the cheese instead of those crackers. We will be back!

My wife and I had a wonderful meal in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious.

The team at La Palumbo went above and beyond to make our evening perfect. I can’t help but think how hard it is for owner/ operator restaurants, however the rewards supporting places like this mean you have meals that are full of personality and passion.

Lovely French Basque neighbourhood restaurant. We enjoyed everything immensely. Nice wine list by the glass and bottle. Generous portions full of flavour. Recommend the braised leek starter with romesco sauce and the cod. We will definitely go back.

We had a lovely couple dinner here. The restaurant is small and intimate, food was very good and the service discreet and attentive. Will definitely go back next time we are in London.

Warm intimate ambience. The food was delicious, but tiny portion sizes, specially of the mains,that the price doesn't justify.

When you’re still thinking about the food 2 days later, you know you had an excellent meal and experience. Run don’t walk to La Palombe. We can’t wait to come back!

What a memorable experience. Service is warm and attentive, the food is exceptional to the point that we couldn’t fault anything. We had the Côte de Boeuf for two, accompanied with a mouth watering peppercorn sauce. I must say it was one of the best I’ve had in London. A side of fries with their signature chilli herb broccoli did the trick for our main course. The wine recommendation was perfect to pair with our mains, and they even gave us a taster to ensure it was according to our liking. To finish, we were recommended the tarte au miel. What a great way to finish our meal. La Palombe is a great addition to the neighbourhood and was the perfect restaurant for our date night. Thank you. We will return soon
