The ambiance is amazing, especially during sunset. Food was just okay, nothing special. You’re paying for the view. If you sit at the tables on the sand, vendors come by occasionally to ask if you want to buy anything. Some are cool, like a band that sings for you. By the fifth vendor it gets old. But view is great.

We were there on Friday night for Dia los Muretos! A very busy night indeed but service was excellent. The beach setting was beautiful with Tike torch’s and the near by ocean. A truly wonderful evening with dish’s including steak, fish and shrimp of various preparations. All 6 of us fully enjoyed our meals.

Wonderful venue eating dinner on the beach watching the sunset. Food is delicious as always. Service is very attentive. The only bad thing for this experience was we had two of party of six with birthdays. This was noted in the reservation. We have had celebrations here in the past and always had a special desert presented. Not last night Other tables had their special desert and singing but nothing for us. Very disappointed. La Palapa dropped the ball for this dinner

Every time my husband and I come to Puerto Vallarta we always try to have at least one or two meals at La Palapa restaurant. It is one of our favorites as the food in the ambience are incredible and the service is always top-notch. We have yet to have some thing that we did not like. Definitely recommend for anybody who is staying in the romantic zone.
