Bringing to the helm Matthieu Landillon from the coastal city of Marseille, La Nouvelle allows us to explore classic French Bistro fare with an elevated edge. Amazing dining experience! Food was incredible from start to finish. Onion Tartin and French onion soup were excellent to start off with. The Steak Au Poivre and the Wagyu NY Strip were cooked perfectly to temperature and delicious. We finished the night with the Lavender Crème Brûlée which was creamy and decadent. Amelia was an incredibly attentive and informative server which helped perfect the whole dining experience. Definitely a place not to be missed during your visit to St. Augustine!

The entire experience is lovely! The staff, ambience, wonderful selection of brunch item’s. Everything was just fabulous. The wine list is very extensive and also delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting St Augustine. We cannot wait to make a reservation to dine for dinner.

Coming from a foodie town of Charleston, SC and really enjoying Michael's last year when it was downtown, anticipation built. My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day evening dinner. Food was excellent, wine selection was great and had a super 2 top table along the window. Perfect quiet setting for us to have a great conversation at our table. Server was a little funky, but other attendants smoothed the corners.

A fantastic restaurant for a French experience. Food is delicious, service - impeccable. What is not to like? A great place for a Friday lunch or a special dinner.

The change in ownership of this previously excellent restaurant has resulted in the very best eating establishment in all of St Augustine! Having lived five years in France, I can say La Nouvelle serves up the highest quality and genuinely authentic French food! Everything about our dining experience was way beyond our already high expectations! If you haven’t eaten there yet, you are missing a dining extravaganza par excellence!

The entire experience was outstanding . There was a slight delay with seating but the food more than compensated for it.

Really beautifully done experience. We went for Valentine’s Day lunch and our server, Jesse, was fantastic. Attentive and informative. Food was really special. The quiche was the best I have ever had. We enjoyed the steak tartare, gougeres and duck confit as well. Wish we had saved room for dessert, but we did not, so we must go back :). Loved being in a historic home. 10 out of 10!

Very nicely surprised by this little gem of a restaurant that really deserves a better locale… we booked outside but service was prompt and professional. Excellent quality and prices were adequate for service. Highly recommend.
