    I absolutely recommend this restaurant Food was amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. Costumers service was excellent .

    The menu is a little bit confusing and overwhelming. I had to keep going back to reviews online to see the pictures of the menu items. I did not really know what I was truly ordering. Though most of the items were super delicious, I believe i had ordered too many of the same items when ording the cebiche trio, as well as the trio Tiraditos. I wish there was an explanation under the titles on what those dishes actually are. I believe I would've enjoyed it more if i ordered just more single plate entree's to have more variety of dishes. Very expensive for lunch prices. I'm not too intimated to go for dinner, even though the dishes were delicious.

    The service and food was excellent! We had the ceviche trio sampler. They were all different and very tasty. We also had the Chicken Anticuchos, they were very flavorful, next time we will try the veal. I had one of my favorites entrees, Lomo Saltado, delicious! We took the chocolate cake home and that was to die for! We will definitely come back! The restaurant was very full on a Wednesday evening, but the service was great, everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was lively. Great location!

    Best restaurant in town!!! Loved the food, it was absolutely delicious and creative! Friendly service, decor and atmosphere are great too!

    Ceviche and cocktail were very good. Well decorated interior. Good to know parking under the building is comped by the restaurant.

    I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my visit to La Mar on Sunday, January 26. While I was looking forward to an enjoyable dining experience, several issues left me dissatisfied. Firstly, our server delayed bringing out our food until we reached out, despite the significant wait. During this time, we noticed the server chatting with coworkers instead of attending to our table. When we inquired, the server claimed they were waiting for us to finish the appetizer, even though our bowls had been empty for some time. Additionally, food was served over my baby’s head, which felt careless and unsafe. Despite mentioning in our reservation comments that we would need extra space, this request was not accommodated, making the meal uncomfortable for everyone. To add to the frustration, we were asked to pay a mandatory 20% tip despite the subpar service. While I understand gratuities are often added for larger tables, the level of service we received did not merit this. These issues significantly impacted our overall experience. I hope you can address this feedback to improve the service for future patrons. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter and an explanation of how La Mar plans to ensure a better experience moving forward.

    Wonderful food, fun energy in the restaurant too! The waiters were attentive and the drinks flowed beautifully.

    Delicious food accompanied by top notch service. Our waiter, Sebastián Sánchez, dutifully explained each item on the menu and offered very good suggestions. Dishes were beautifully presented and we enjoyed every bite. Pricing is definitely oriented towards the expense account crowd, but the restaurant made for a good treat.

    Very good food though one seviche tastes Ike any other more or less, heavy on the lime and red onion. No need to get seviche and tiradito plates as a result, they’re pretty much the same. Good grilled whole fish “for 1 -2” but at $109 that’s a new price point! They don’t push the booze which is good to see. Waitress very pushy in food quantities to the extent of insistence we needed more plates ($54 halibut suggestion ordered) resulting in inevitable overordered table, doggie bags and a $500 tab for 3 without wine. We would go back, but order differently and not allow the waitress to dominate the order.
